My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. The house down under is just perfect. So well equipped. Patrick and Indira are excellent hosts. Patrick gave excellent advice for our touring. Thank you both. I absolutely recommend staying at your house down under.

We really enjoyed our stay at Betul and Defne’s place . There was everything that we needed and lots of pretty vintage decorations , cushions etc that made you feel at home . the nearby cafes were great and were in walking distance . The place is only a few minutes drive to Central Launceston and access to everything in Launceston was really easy and convenient .

Wow, what an incredible stay! This was hands down the BEST airbnb my family and I have ever stayed at, and we’ve stayed at quite a few! From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by how immaculately clean and beautifully decorated the home was. Every room felt like it was straight out of a design magazine. But what really set this place apart was the attention to detail and functionality. It wasn’t just a pretty space, it was incredibly well-equipped and practical. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided, from tissues to ketchup, even milk in the fridge! It truly felt like a home away from home. It’s rare to find a place that combines both style and substance, and this one absolutely nailed it. We felt so comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts!

We loved our stay at the townhouse. The rooms were very comfortable and the bedding was lovely and warm. The sitting room was the perfect place to sit and chat. The location was great and easy to walk around the local sights and restaurants. We had some issues with the house not being completely cleaned (rubbish on the floor and some floors obviously not vacuumed) Dianne was responsive and helpful. I understand there can be issues with contract cleaners, so hopefully this can be resolved in the future.

Always a great stay at Amanda's house. The place is always clean, it's a great size and in a great location. This was my second visit and it's worth every cent. Amanda also left Easter eggs out for my little ones which was very considerate of her. 🙂

Had a perfect stay here for a family of 5 with one baby. Wish we stayed here longer and it felt like home away from home. Host was kind enough to prepare the room catered to our 5 month old, even though we’re only there for a night. Would definitely return here again for a few more nights :)

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb, the historic home had all the rustic charm you’d expect with modern styling and finishes and a warm homely vibe. It was in the perfect location for a short or longer stay, 5 minute walking distance to the CBD, cafes and restaurants/eatery’s and a short drive to Cataract gorge and other nature hotspots around the area. The beautiful church across the street was also lovely to look at when leaving the property. The parking bay provided was also greatly appreciated and allowed us ease and comfort to come and go as we please. Annabelle was a great host providing tips for everything the area had to offer and answering any questions we had. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend for familys and friends looking to soak up some heritage charm whilst enjoying all that Launceston had to offer. 10/10

Stephanie was such a lovely, welcome host. We were fortunate to have been greeted by her personally when we arrived and she made us feel right at home. The setting for this accommodation is so delightful, completely charming. If you enjoy character and charm of old buildings, you will love it here! It's set amongst a lovely garden and right opposite the stunning and historic Village Green. Westbury is such a quaint little town, there's a great coffee and wine spot a short walk away (Love Lucy Boots) and we enjoyed a meal from the Thai food van by the Village Green on the Friday night. The house itself was very comfortable (once we lit the fire!) Plenty of space, a very large and well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with great linen were some of the highlights. We did think the kitchen could so with a deep clean, in the drawers etc. But everything else was just fine and we really enjoyed the space. We would happily return when in Westbury again, it was great value for money!

Dale's apartment was the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Launceston. The location was fantastic, surrounded by lots of great cafes, wine bars and restaurants with the entire CBD walkable in less than 15 minutes. The place itself was generous in size and very comfortable, even without heating on you could tell it was well insulated and had a lot of great storage making our stay very comfortable. The other big plus was the big lock up garage, we had a Suzuki Vitara and it fit easily, even though there was a car park near by it was nice to know we had a secure park. There was really nothing to fault, we had a great long weekend.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment. It is very clean and comfortable, and there are so many thoughtful touches throughout. Fantastic value for money - I will definitely be back!

Judy's place was just what I needed after 11 days on the motorcycle touring around Tassie. Place was well set up with all the amenities required for my 3 night stay. Everything from comfy beds with warm blankets to full laundry. This place had it all. Thank you Judy

A great apartment with plenty of space. The view across the river was fabulous, especially early in the morning. Our two young boys were delighted by the chickens and rabbits in the garden and would have happily spent our entire stay in their pen! We would thoroughly recommended Jo’s place!

Had a lovely 2-night stay here for our visit to Launceston. Comfortable appartment with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and clean and spacious bathroom with both shower and bath. The washer also came in handy, unfortunately it was raining the next day so it did take a while for the clothes to dry indoor, but it’s great to have all of these amenities at hand. We enjoyed visiting Moores Hill winery and the history walking tour of Launceston. Great location next to the gorge.

Jenn is a terrific host. Good communication, Jenn replies quickly. Lots of useful information about the local area provided and self service arrival. The property was lovely, very clean, everything you need there. Hope you arrive during daylight hours, it’s a bit of a “Wow” moment as you step in the front door, with beautiful views out the windows. Very enjoyable outlook to relax by. Woolworths at Legana is only a short drive away. Some traffic noise might be heard. We would recommended staying here.

Amazing views. Nice clean, cosy place to relax and the host was brilliant. We would definitely be back again.
