We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries I would definitely recommend this gem of a place. With hot tub, barbecue room, twinkly lights and a log burner to relax in front of you can't go wrong.

Loved our weekend here. The only thing that wasn't ideal was how easily sound travels in the cabin. We had a group of six friends staying and every time someone got up in the night it had a good chance of everyone waking up. We got a ton of use out of the hot tub, and there's a nice hiking trail right out the door. I'd say it would be a better fit for a couple on a weekend away than a big group like ours, but you can't fault the cabin for that. Lovely clean place, just like the photos, and very clean.

We had an amazing week at Nether Glenny! The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and endless opportunities for walking right from the cottage. Alison was extremely accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring the beautiful local area. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with fantastic hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

Great little place to get away from it all. Great little cabin, very comfortable furniture and beds. Fab private hot tub Many miles from shopping or restaurants, so arrive well stocked. Friendly service.

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

We spent 2 nights here as a last minute getaway. Loved our stay here. Cottage was better than expected with everything and more you could ever need. Kevin recommended a few restaurants in the local area. One being a small pates restaurant which was fantastic and a local Indian which was as good as any we have where I live.

had a great stay at Toms place, very central, spotless, very comfy sofas and bed. bath was a bonus. Tom very kindly let me check in earlier, great communication. I have already booked for next month

The place was great. The street is centrally situated, within walking distance to amenities. I loved that there were some items in the cupboard for you to use during you stay.

We had a great few days in Helensburgh visiting our daughter who lives locally. Margaret is a wonderful host and has a beautiful house and gardens - perfect for our energetic spaniel to run around in. While attached to the main house, the apartment is very private and you’d never know your hosts were the other side of the wall. If you needed anything however, Margaret was always on hand to help out. The apartment was spotless and had lots of amenities- exactly as described. The place is also ideally located for this beautiful part of Scotland, with Loch Lomond just a 10 minute drive away. We look forward to staying at Margaret’s again in the future and can’t thank her enough.

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Amazing space for larger parties - so much social space for all to gather and lovely comfortable living rooms and bedrooms too. Everything you could ever need inside the house, from fully stocked kitchen to board games and books. Beautiful gardens outside too which are fully fenced and gated so perfect for kids and the dog. Gorgeous walks close by and a great wee local store in the petrol station only a minutes drive away. A wonderful, helpful and responsive host too and an all round lovely place to stay. Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely apartment within walking distance of Dunoon town centre. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and even had a slow cooker and air fryer if you wanted to cook ( we didn’t). Always cosy

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

This was our first visit to Cameron House and we were not disappointed, the lodge was perfect for us and the resort had plenty of activities on offer (if you wanted to do them). We visited in August and there were various activities available for different age ranges. We had teenagers so they were interested in clay shooting, bubble football, private cinema, golf and although there was a cost for these it was not unreasonable. Plus there was the indoor pool, gym and range of fitness classes. Plus of course there is the great outdoors with fantastic scenery and Loch Lomond itself. The host was really helpful and answered all my questions really well. I would have no hesitation going back.

Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.
