We had a great time and the house was wonderful! The house has everything you need to cook and we enjoyed dinner at the cabin most nights. The house is only a few minutes to multiple restaurants and shops! The house was large and more than enough space for our family! The kids loved the creek and mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub!

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

This was our second time staying here. I don’t want to leave a good review so it’s not always booked up lol! Karen is very easy to get in touch with. The cabin is private, clean, and unmatched scenery. We will, of course, be going back!

Lindsey’s Cabin was the perfect stay for our girls weekend getaway! She was so thoughtful and left us a little welcome gift for the weekend, that was the cherry on top to an already amazing stay. The place was clean, exactly as described, comfy and cozy, and her communication was quick, thorough, and friendly. Would recommend to anyone!!

The cozy cabin was exactly what my friend and I dreamed of for a little reading retreat. We sat outside, enjoyed the hot tub, and relaxed in the coziness! I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin.

We loved our stay at The Red Rabbit. It was perfect. The bed was super comfy. Cute dishes and pottery. We enjoyed a bonfire one night. Some homemade treats were there to welcome us. Very peaceful!

From the very beginning they were very attentive to my questions. The location was prefect for what we wanted. The porch was our favorite spot and was out there most of the time. The location was private but only a few miles from town making getting from a Madison to the Cabin very quick. The beds were very comfortable, the who place was clean, stocked with just enough dishes and cookware to have our meals prepared in home. It was so relaxing and serene. This tops as the favorite they have stayed at with me. Their book of information was very helpful. Very vital information needed was inside. My sister went through the brochures of local information which steered us to various locations in town. My sister enjoyed the creek walking down to see the water falls. There is nothing negative to say. This was perfect for the three nights we needed. We will definitely come back next time we're in Madison.

Cabin was really clean and cozy. This cabin is about. 15-20 mins away from town, but loved how secluded and quiet it was. We enjoyed the hot tub one night and also had a bonfire one night. Sam is very quick and responsive, would rent from him again for sure. Only complaint was the beds were too soft for our liking, but would stay again :)

We had a great stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and area was peaceful. Appreciate the fact that we could bring our dog. Randy’s instructions were spot on and we had no issues whatsoever. Loved being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the wonderful weather and when it did rain we appreciated that we could park under a carport. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Marty makes this Airbnb feel just like home and actually, even better because no worries of home. We so appreciated the snacks, muffins, bread and the wine. We were 10 minutes away from anything but felt a million miles away from everything! Loved watching the birds and the squirrels during the day and the raccoons at night (they also wanted bird feed!) I’m going to be buying some wind chimes of my own ! About everything we could need at the cabin, Marty provided! The fireplaces!!! The pass for Patoka! Everything was excellent!

We love staying at this place. It was secluded situated, and the Hoosier national Forest went hiking and running the entire stay loved the fire pit outdoors. We are vegan, so the kitchen is always very important to us. Had plenty of dishes and bowls and pots to use, which was great. We also noticed that many Airbnb‘s don’t have enough towels to use and star had plenty of towels to use not only for the bathroom, but also for the kitchen, which was a huge plus for us would definitely stay there again in the future. Anyone would enjoy the space. We only imagine what it’s like in the summer.

This is a very beautiful place with plenty of privacy and beautiful surroundings. The host "Apolonia" is a very kind, responsive, and understanding host. Unfortunately there was some storm damage from the storms that came through in the days prior to our stay that the host was unaware of. However, when I contacted Apilonia in regards to these issues she was extremely responsive and apologetic. She was very understanding when I vacated my reservation early due to said storm damage and very helpful when it came to me getting a refund for the days I was unable to stay. I hope someday to revisit and get the full enjoyment this place has to offer. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway from the everyday life. It offers beautiful scenery, the cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and the host is exceptional.

Had a really great weekend trip here with my dad. I wouldn’t call it “glamping” as it is very remote and not exactly luxurious as the term suggests. The privies are pretty much unusable, but they have a great shower/bathroom trailer nearby. Unfortunately, the AC was broken when we went, so it was extremely hot inside. If you’re not used to camping and being in the middle of nowhere, I’d choose a different place. There was also a wedding during our stay, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use the bathroom as it was right next to the wedding barn and pretty loud throughout the night. Would’ve been nice if we could have been told about this beforehand. Otherwise, we loved it here. Nice to see all the animals as well.

this place was absolutely beautiful! it was a little off the beaten path but the directions given were perfect. We will definitely be looking to come back!

This may have been the most beautiful wooded, quiet, and beautiful cabin we've had the opportunity to stay in. It's very clear how much this home has been loved, with how well it's been taken care of. Pet friendly was the most important to me, being the mother of two fuzzy furbabies. We celebrated Mavis's 10th birthday here, and the host had everything needed to bake her a strawberry cake. Everything was set up perfectly for the humans and the furbabies alike. Exactly as advertised. The campground is nice and quiet. The cabin was small, perfect for me as i stayed a week for work and didnt need much room. Very clean and had what i needed. Would definitely stay again if im working in the area.

Barbara was very welcoming! Peaceful place on top of the hill. Would highly recommend if you are looking in the area for a place to stay!!

The place is a cozy nook tucked away and perfect for a weekend getaway and some fishing. Basic.Clean and comfortable. Some reviews had warned that it was not a "lake", more of a "pond" and so wasn't disappointed. It is smaller than what most folks would expect for a lake.The paddle boat is a nice addition.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely unforgettable. I planned a weekend getaway here to propose to my now fiancée and it turned out to be the most magical experience. The setting is so serene and beautiful. We sat for hours watching the birds who came to visit the feeder in perfect view of the window. There were so many incredible species we saw and heard (Hint: download the Merlin Bird ID app to identify birds based on sound). The cabin itself has everything you could possibly need. So many thoughtful touches are present everywhere you look. If we hadn’t had other plans we would have been perfectly at ease just relaxing at the cabin the entire weekend. The outdoor shower was amazing and ended up being the only shower I used. One thing to note- at 5’11” I had to crouch a little in the lofted bedroom. Not a big deal but just something to be aware of. This was without a doubt the PERFECT home base for the most romantic and special weekend ever. Thank you so much for sharing it!!

Randy's place was beautiful and exactly as described. It's far enough away from everything that you feel secluded but close enough that you get where you need to go in a short time. My kids loved the playset and the creek out back. We will definitely stay here again

everything was perfect the cabin was beautiful Lois was an awesome host. I had a great relaxing time! definitely will be back. my wife enjoyed everything my dog loved the deck he could see everything.
