Sure there are other places that have the same spot with cheaper option. But this is different. Ive been to Elyu countless times and it’s my first time to spend this much amount for a stay. But it no regrets at all I can stay sa kubo for the whole day with the malambing cat. And it is super peaceful. The whole stay is clean not just your room but the whole place. I love the tabo with long handle so you can easily wash your sandy feet. Little things that matter. Ata Jarah is super helpful. I managed to surf in wooden board for the first time because of them. I finally graduated surfing on soft board. Thanks to papa P. 😅 I can say a lot of great things pa but the best is the free cheesebread and coffee. Super solid na free yung coffee anytime you want. BUT THE CHEESEBREAD IS SO DAMN GOOD NA BUMILI KAMI PARA IPASALUBONG PAUWI. Amazing stay and will definitely go back here for reward sa hardwork :)

Highly Recommended Stay at Surfstar! We highly recommend Surfstar for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! It’s located in a quiet part of the beach, yet it’s still very close to restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and other essential spots—all within walking distance. We loved the unlimited coffee and the delicious cheese bread they served. The staff was exceptional, always responsive both in chat and in person, and very accommodating. Special thanks to Ate Jhara and Kuya Eric for making our stay so memorable. They even arranged a surf lesson for us, which was a fantastic experience! One of the things we truly appreciated was that they allowed us to check in early, as we arrived in Elyu ahead of schedule. This thoughtful gesture really made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

we had an amazing time at ruby's unfortunately we had to leave early. the beach is beautiful water is clear. it is a fisherman's beach lots of boats and doggies

Oliver was very accomodating, explained well what do and don’ts, we enjoy the welcome refresher. Famous “ Ice Cream” the sorrounding very quiet and peaceful. All and all we enjoyed our family vacation.

Such an amazing experience! The caretakers were incredibly friendly and accommodating—always ready to help with a smile. One thing that really stood out was how my daughter instantly connected with the manager, caretakers and their dog. She spent time playing with them, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was having such a great time. What truly amazed us was the caretaker’s honesty and dedication. We had already driven about 10 minutes away when we realized we left our camping chair. To our surprise, the caretaker followed us on a motorcycle and caught up just to return it! We were shocked and incredibly grateful for such kindness. To top it all off, the place had a perfect sunset view—absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend this place for the warm hospitality and honesty.

Definitely one of the best locations to stay in LU. I just wished the rooms were a bit bigger esp on the left side of the bed, but nonetheless will still be back. Might try other rooms next time. Had no issues checking in since everything was laid out prior to visit. Wifi is also very stable for working! Can’t wait to be back 💫

We enjoyed our stay at the Balay by the Sea. I was quiet, private, adequate basic amenities. It was as advertised. The on-site property attendants, Ogie and Beny were very courteous and very attentive to our needs. They made us feel at home and well cared for. The bathrooms and kitchen could use a little bit more cleaning to make them spotless and odor-free. The beach is good but it was too windy during our stay so the water became a bit murky and the waves a bit frightening for an average swimmer. It would have been nice if there was a spa or jacuzzi stub in the property for such an occasion. Ceiling fans in the dining and patio areas would have been nice as well. The general location of the property is very convenient as a base camp for touring Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur tourist destinations. The final few hundred meters leading to the property is very narrow and lined with shabby houses. It could be rather disconcerting for first-time visitors the Philippines.

Place is wonderful, Cecil, Kim and Gerald were very accomodating. Did not have any issues with communication. will surely be back! My kids and mother enjoyed the stay! Thank you for having us.

The place was so nice, a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay with our family and relatives, so peaceful and comfortable place. Very nice HOME to stay esp. staying at Cabana and kids enjoyed their jacuzzi pool as well. We enjoyed cooking with their complete kitchen utensils, griller and enjoyed their ice maker with our halo halo., PERFECT! Leandro, the host and the owner is so nice as well, he respond to all our inquiries. He is so considerate also. The caretaker Russel also is so nice. Thanks Manilokanos HOME!💕

Walkable distance to hundred islands. The house is nice and big. Had karaoke’s for us to use which is a plus.

Judyline and Annabel were fantastic to work with! The place is very nice and near a river which brings nice sounds and birds singing. the caretaker is wonderful, her name is Annabel and she was very accommodating and kind. We did have a slight issue with the washer not being in the unit as the ad says. But again, Annabel took care of us and did a great job. Judyline was great with her recommendations for what to do in the area. The unit has plenty of beds which was great for our large group. The kitchen is also stocked with cooking ware, all you need is the food, which can be found at the many local markets. Judyline was great and Annabel was so wonderful and kind, she was always very happy to help! This area is really fun to explore, plenty to do, and this house is wonderful to stay in. Great house and awesome setup with the beach and pool!

It was a great place to stay and recharge after a long drive to Ilocos. We were well rested because it was quiet and cold ac really helped

Everything was as described, easy check in, very nice view, quieter side of La Union. Aircon can be improved. But overall we will definitely go back. :)

We super enjoyed our stay in Carolina's Place. It has an amazing sunset view and the room is sooo cozy! We will definitely come back and recommend the place. Thank you Carol for responding so fast.
