Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

It was fantastic to spend a few days on vacation with my family at Sharon's house. Sharon's husband, Mr Ronnie, was 100% present to provide all types of assistance and solutions for whatever was needed. Many thanks to the couple Sharon and Ronnie. Special thanks also to Mrs. Happy, who takes care of the house. She is very attentive and friendly. I would recommend that the other two bedrooms be equipped with air conditioning units because in the summer, Durban is quite hot and humid. Even fans could help a person have a more pleasant sleep. Thank you so much Sharon, Ronnie and Happy. We made a family, for sure. God bless you all.

My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at Elise's place, and we felt right at home! There were tons of activities for the kids, and the staff are so, so friendly. I had such a wonderful stay here—one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The apartment is exactly as described (if not better): tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and full of thoughtful touches that really elevate the stay. A bottle of wine and a selection of Nespresso pods were waiting for me on arrival, which was such a lovely welcome after a long journey. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful sea view that you can enjoy right from the upstairs lounge It felt like the perfect retreat, yet it’s still just a short drive to shops, restaurants and the beach is opposite! The hosts were brilliant—friendly, responsive, and clearly take great pride in making guests feel at home. Everything has been done to a really high standard, from the linens to the kitchen equipment to the little design details. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you’re in good hands. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Claire’s place was a lovely stay. We felt right at home. Only a few minutes from shops & restaurants in walking distance. Great stay & highly recommend.

Beautiful view, the ridge and the Indian ocean. Very spacious, comfortable and cosy place. Very clean and well kept. Everything you need is within reach with easy access to the Oceans mall and surroundings.

I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

We had a perfect time with Sihle! He was very welcoming and explained us everything about the flat and surroundings :)! He also gave us good recommendations for our stay which allowed us to spent a fun time in Durban! Thank you, and we highly recommend to stay with Sihle!

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. The place is breathtaking and exactly as per the pictures. It’s peaceful, with an amazing view and close to any and every restaurant you would need. We will definitely be back
