The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

What a great place to stay in Galena Territory! The home was even better than the pictures and provided lots of space for our group. The screened in porch was a huge hit! There was lots of toys for the kiddos to play with and space to hang out in. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and organized. There was space in the garage for 2 cars and 3 additional could fit in the driveway. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Galena! Around a 15 minute drive from downtown, making it an easy trip!

5 guys stayed here for a bachelor party and had a great time. Close to the Salt Shed venue, and wicker park is a great walkable area. Would stay here again, home was beautiful.

The home was beautiful, clean, easily accessible and located in a great area. We had many options for restaurants within a few minutes drive. Easy access to downtown for exploring. Very comfortable amenities and well stocked kitchen. We would stay here again!

This apartment is fantastically located and has many great amenities. My college buddies and I did a weekend in Chicago (7 of us total) and this place was an awesome home base. Sleek, modern feel, plenty of room and a great location. Highly recommend!

Very nice place, a short drive into Galena and around 20 minutes to Chestnut Mountain. We stayed there with our daughter and two of her friends, and they thought it was great. It snowed before we arrived, and we appreciated that Stefania removed the snow and made it easy to get in and out.

It's a huge and enjoyable property! We had a great time, and our group (11 people) had plenty of room to sleep, eat, and hang out without feeling cramped. I'd recommend this place to someone hosting a large group like 10+, that wants to stay in Rockford!

Spent a vacation here with my family, everything was accurately described and easy to get in and had everything I needed. I recommend this location and housing for any get-aways.

I hosted a slumber party for my 10 year old and 9 of her friends, THEY HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL!! The second night, my husband, mother and 3 children enjoyed a night ourselves, and no one wanted to leave the next morning! Thank you for providing such a comforting atmosphere for my family and I to enjoy!

The home was very clean and cozy! All the local restaraunt recommendations were in a binder upon our arrival and the ones we ordered from were delicious. The heater worked very well and the living room even had charming Christmas lights on the mantle for extra charm.

Beth’s home was perfect for our group trip, which centered around cooking together for a Passover Seder! The kitchen had great appliances and equipment, with the space for many of us to cook at once. The house had everything we needed and we were all comfortable.

Amazing place! The house had a lot of history but plenty of sleep space for our family. The Land was breathtaking! We will be back!

Alex was great at communicating and following up. We had some questions and she was responsive. Also goes beyond expectations on things like forgetting coats :0) - thank you! The location is great. Short walk to a Main Street of bars and restaurants, kid friendly too - happy campers pizza joint was a great reco! Also close to the brown line train station and not too far into town - we walked it with children and it was fine. House is really large, spacious. I know some have mentioned about hearing the train, but that is part of city living, it was more than fine. Enjoyed the stay, would recommend it and would go back again if visiting Chicago. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. There was so much to do and this was the perfect meeting place for three couples from different states to have a reunion! We had two small children, ages 4 and 6 and there was so much for them to do. Theresa was so thoughtful in the details for this place. From the art studio to the snacks to coffee, we felt right at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to come back!!

James was extremely communicative and responsive, and gave clear instructions on how to get into the house, how to turn on/off the hot tub, and how to check out. The house was exactly as described and it was the perfect size for 6 people. The neighborhood and surrounding area was peaceful & quiet. There was coffee k-cups supplied which was a nice touch, and we had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. I would highly recommend this place!

Quiet space in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room for multiple families to both come together and spread out. Well stocked with necessities and the pool is a great amenity!

Four of us stayed at Ryan’s place for a girl’s weekend and it was fantastic. The home needs some cosmetic updating but that mattered not at all to us- the place was clean and perfect for us to just hang out. The views are beautiful and it’s an easy drive to downtown Galena. We especially loved how there are labels on things in the kitchen and light switches to make it easy to know where to put things or what turns something on, etc. We also loved being able to leave the house at check out and not have a laundry list of things we must do to clean up. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so make sure if you are coming you bring your own. We just borrowed from a neighbor until we could get into town and buy some. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we so appreciate the hospitality.

Bachelorette weekend for my daughter in law to be. Loved the pool and hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. Michelle was available for all questions. Great Host!

Trisha is a fantastic host. The house is absolutely incredible. We had an issue where we broke something of hers and she worked with us to remedy the situation while staying very professional and always working with us to find a solution. Trisha probably wouldn’t have us back but I would stay at any of her properties.

Look - you're going to look at the pictures and description of this place and think "this is too good to be true." I get it - we certainly did. But if you're worried about misleading information, the only fear you will realize is Tom and Beverly are *underselling* this amazing AirBnB. Everything is as good or better than described. The pool - OMG the Endless Pool is amazing! But even if you're not a pool person, Tom and Beverly have put in a lot of thought to making your stay amazing. Indoors you have air hockey, axe throwing, darts, and board games in an absolutely spacious game / enternainment area with vaulted ceilings, comfy couches and chairs, a desk, and incredibly large TV plus super-fast WiFi (500Mb). And that's just 1/3 of the indoor space! I'll run out of characters before I'm done, so here's what else - outdoor space is just as amazing - two private lakes, playground equipment if you've got kiddos, just gorgeous walking, etc. This is definitely one of the best - book it!

We stayed here for a friends reunion with a group of 10, and it was absolutely perfect! The house had plenty of space, lots of bedrooms, and everything was super clean. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful—exactly what we were hoping for. We especially loved all the amenities, the hot tub, pool table, and cozy fireplace made our stay extra fun and relaxing. We did run into a little hiccup with the self check-in, but one quick call to Jennifer and she helped us out quickly and efficiently. It was a great deal for such an amazing place, and we’ll definitely book again if we’re back in Galena with a big group. Highly recommend!
