Absolutely Loved our stay!! There aren't enough good things to say about the view, location & beautiful house. So fun! There's a pool table, air hockey & 2 free standing video games. Spent every sunset in the Lakeview room😍 Just gorgeous beyond words! Did i mention the Bald Eagle that hangs out in the tree right outside the Lakeview bedroom? Incredible! the lake doesn't freeze over in one spot in front of the lakeview window, saw all the big birds of prey hunt. It was definitely wildlife at its finest. The owners are Very responsive & told us to be on the look out for the eagle! Fantastic time! Loved Loved Loved it & already reserved for our Wedding weekend❤️

THE HOST WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH , IT WAS ABOVE WHAT MY EXPECTATIONS WAS.

We were doing a week long camping trip and needed a safe place to stay due to possible severe weather heading our way so we found Rebecca’s cabin and it was absolutely perfect! We reserved same day as check in and the place was very clean and cozy. There was even a lovely bouquet of flowers which was a lovely touch! We only stayed one night but it was great and had everything we needed!

I rented this cabin for my uncle and my 2 cousins to celebrate my uncle’s soon-to-be 95th birthday. My cousin said it was easy to find and to get inside. They planned to do some fishing and they had a question about what kind of bait they should use in the lake and their question was answered promptly The only area of concern was that there had been some wet towels left in the bathtub, and my cousin said it made the inside smell very “mildewed”. She tried to wash the towels, but the washer was new and needed to be programmed or reset, so she couldn’t use it…. One of the hosts, Jerry, called me (I wasn’t staying at the cabin) and explained about the washer being new. I didn’t fully understand that the issue was the towels had left the cabin smelling moldy until my cousin explained it to me. But Jerry quickly called me to explain the issue with the washer and he said if we needed clean towels to leave the dirty ones outside the front door and they would wash them.

We thourghly enjoyed spending time at Jason's place. It's our annual Fishing and Stitching trip. Great dock for fishing. I have knee problems and easily managed the stairs. It's located less than an hour from the Paducah Quilt Show making it a convenient location for a trip to the show. We'd definitely book this again.

I am more than pleased with our stay at Larry’s beautiful home! My boy graduated from Navy boot camp and I wanted nothing more than to give him a beautiful, comfortable place to rest and chill after a long 9 weeks of no sleep, yelling, exhaustion, and non-stop grueling activity. From the amazing panoramic lake view, to the nautical themed decor, and the huge hot tub! This place was the epitome of comfort for our family! My son was able to relax with us in the hot tub, nap on one of the super comfortable beds, and take a nice relaxing bath in the jetted tub. With the available amenities, I was able to cook for him and truly make him feel like he was home. This place provided the perfect respite for his transition into the next part of his journey. When Larry says this is not the Ritz, he means it, and that is the best part for me! Who the hell wants the Ritz? My boy needed a comfortable home-like experience and that is exactly what this was! Thank you so much Larry!

Great stay in Chicago. Parking was easy and getting inside was a breeze with the instructions provided. The unit was just as expected with added touches like extra towels and cold drinks in the fridge on arrival. We enjoyed our time and recommend Shomari’s place for a perfect weekend in Chicago with family and friends!

We enjoyed this place so much. Its quiet, private and comfy, perfect for a retreat. We were positively surprised, the house and amenities are in fact better than described. Barrel sauna with spectacular lake views and everthing neccesary to enjoy it. Greg was such a great host! We will be more than happy to come back on our next vacation.

We enjoy this place so much! On the water with safe surroundings. The stairs are alot scary for little children but we just blocked it off. Loved the extra seating they provide. Made eating together easy. Only thing I wish was available about this rental is to be per friendly. Would love to bring our dog Tess with us. But the little frenchy pups that run around were so sweet. They came to visit daily! Thanks so much for sharing you little escape with us.

This is our second time staying here as a family. There are several reasons we came back: check in and out is very easy; the space accommodates our extended family very well; there is direct lake access though you have to be aware the path is “natural“ and as Doug has said in other reviews, they do not have control over improving the path; the space was very clean and all the essentials are provided; Doug is very responsive and got back to us very quickly when we had minor questions! We would highly recommend staying here, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the time we want to come back😁

Our stay was a girl’s weekend- mother and daughters. The home was perfect for relaxing and visiting. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed watching the barges and birds. The beds were very comfortable, too. If we’re in the area again, we’d definitely choose this home.

A very comfortable lake house! Fantastic view and access to the lake. Fully furnished kitchen makes cooking any meal as easy as at home. Plenty of space for guests to spread out. Host is responsive and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Chain O’ Lakes Beach Penthouse and would definitely recommend it! The lake view from the large upper deck was stunning—sunsets over the water were a real highlight. The space was clean, matched the listing, and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. There was even plenty of propane for the grill and fire table, which made hanging out in the evening really enjoyable. Even though the unit is above a beach bar, it wasn’t a problem. The music added a fun energy without being disruptive, and the vibe downstairs actually made the place feel lively in a good way. The neighborhood itself was quiet and welcoming, and even the neighbors were friendly. We appreciated the little touches like board and card games, and communication with the host was smooth—quick responses and easy check-in made everything simple. This place is great if you're looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway with a social atmosphere nearby. We'd happily stay again!

Gorgeous home, in a quiet spot, the house has everything and made our trip perfect. We loved kayaking and hanging by the beach. A lot of bass were caught right off shore and the water was surprisingly warm for hanging out. The space inside was perfect for family meals, and relaxing.

Place was absolutely beautiful and clean beds were so clean comfortable. Kitchen was supplied with many amenities that you would need it was a very nice place the only thing we ran out of toilet paper there was only one in each bathroom and we couldn’t find

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this waterfront property on Fox Lake with our three dogs. The home offers direct access to the lake, providing a serene and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The house comfortably accommodated our group, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The interior was clean and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious yard and the proximity to the lake. The neighborhood was peaceful, making it ideal for morning walks with our pets. Additionally, the property's location provided convenient access to local attractions and dining options in Fox Lake. The host was responsive and accommodating, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and that we had everything we needed throughout.

The house was great! Located right where we needed to be, we were in walking distance to many of the activities we had planned. Not to mention there were restaurants right at the corner. We were a family of 6 so our vehicle couldn’t fit in the garage however Julian has accommodating parking stickers that allowed us to park on the street. The house was beautiful from top to bottom and well maintained. Downside was walking up the steps with all our luggage but hey always good to burn some calories. I would honestly stay here again. This is a beautiful, old house right by the park and beach, plus a playground and adorable summer snack shack just a few minutes walk away. There's a lovely private back yard and deck for summer evenings. We especially appreciated the kitchen, which was well-stocked with all the dishes and equipment we needed to cook full meals for our large family. We stayed for an extended time, and whenever anything came up, our wonderful hosts were quick to respond and help. Thanks Keith for your hospitality!

It was a quick birthday weekend trip. The guys were able to fish a little despite the wind and were delighted with the chance! The outdoor fireplace was amazing and the wind died down enough to make it a great relaxing spot. The screen porch had a beautiful view of the lake in the and having morning coffee was a joy. Great location and overall very clean. The beds are very soft, should be replaced soon.
