We just love this guest house on Abel’s Bay! This felt just like home to us, full of books, shells, collectibles etc. It was private and oh so quiet. We enjoyed sneak peaks of the pademelons hopping about. Sean being a birder enjoyed the bird life too. We were very comfortable at the cottage and hated to leave. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We likely will never make it back, but we will always have fond memories of you home.

We loved our stay here. Roomy, airy, tastefully decorated, we felt at home. The bed was excellent and Gavin has thought of everything that you could want for a comfortable time. We were able to do washing and the breakfast provisions and extras were very much appreciated. We would happily come back here again. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful stay, enjoying the beautiful property and local walks as well as the stunning and extensive gardens and nursery next door. We appreciate attention to detail at Edenlight and touches like fresh cut flowers in the room and bathroom & a fire laid and ready for us. We also appreciated the local knowledge and tips. Wonderful cottage beside the water. We had a few relaxing days enjoying the cottage. Sitting on the deck, listening to the birds and the water of Deep Bay was a delight and a great way to unwind. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Really really nice place, for sure recommended to stay here if you're looking to some quiet, beautiful and peaceful holiday. FYI: electric heater is small but the fireplace was fun!

Scott’s Airbnb was just perfect for our needs for an overnight stay. We had a wedding to attend in Franklin only 5 minutes away. The Airbnb was so comfortable and extremely clean. I highly recommend.

Scott’s place is great value for money. The room was super clean, the bed super comfortable and the view was lovely. We stayed for three nights and it was a great base for exploring the far south, mountains and Huon Valley region.

spotless room, we only stayed for a night so we didn't need fancy however we could comfortably have stayed much longer. easy to find location, I am a light sleeper and there was some road noise as it is on the main highway, and a few early morning risers (ducks across the road!) but they were cute enough to forgive easily.
