What a steal in a wonderful little cottage in the banks of the fabled banks of the Little J. Had everything we needed and just out of the way enough to make u feel like u were all alone. Beautiful place, gorgeous views of the stars, and fantastic surprise cookies at check in! Communication with Heather was clear and pleasant. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Brandon’s place is very spacious with a large deck. The area is wooded and quiet. A great place to rest and relax. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful historical home that has been modernized. There is a lot of the original home that is in there (fireplaces and such) and it gives the home a glimpse into its past. It was big enough for six of us and there were things on site for the little ones yet the rooms were cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and lots of things in the pantry. We loved the convenience to the local town since we were there for a family event. The location is nice and quiet so that was a huge plus for all of us. This is a nice, hidden gem in a historic town that you really don’t want to miss

This is definitely a hidden gem! A home away from home, with all things needed and those you don’t know you need until you do! Last but not least the location couldn’t be more perfect for getting around town not to mention a great view of the beautiful surroundings!

It was the perfect location to celebrate Christmas with family. The property is peaceful and definitely dog friendly. Will definitely choose this location in the future.

Matt was a phenomenal host! Very responsive and helpful at all times! His cabin was like a dream come true! Felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay! Will use him the next time we stay in State College!

We rented the place for the weekend and planned to stay inside the house, most of that Saturday. We were 7 adults in the crew, attending a night college Football game. A couple of days before to start our stay, Kara, our host, received a notification from the local power company about a nearby maintenance which will leave Kara’s place without electricity during the majority of Saturday. She contacted me to give me the news. In addition, without electricity, the pump that feeds water to the house would be out of service. We were exchanging messages exploring options less than 24 hours before our check-in time and when we were about to cancel and claim a refund, she offered to rent an external power generator big enough to feed the entire house for us. The power outage started at 7:00 AM and ended at 6:00 PM. She had the electrician contractor on time to switch the power source. We didn't experience any issues related to the outage. Kara was always willing to help, and she did. Thanks!

I was planning on section hiking part of the Standing Stone Trail. I was looking for a cabin in the woods. Sharon did not disappoint. The place was very clean and exactly as described. Her instructions were very easy to follow. Great all around.

Everything was amazing. I would have liked if the cell signal was better but im camping so that's not a big deal. it would be nice if there were more trails onsight. only a few fishing spots u could reach. And a boat would cost 800 a day which I couldn't afford. But all that said, litteraly everything else was perfect. Beautiful location, great ppl and they provided everything you need for a camping trip. I will definitely be back.

Great place, awesome host, if you're a fly fisherman this is a prime spot. 1 minor (and I mean VERY minor) criticism is that I'd like to see the rate be a little lower. House is nice but there are some nicer houses in the area for less, just understand you're paying for the location. like I said, minor but something to keep in mind. Would I rent from this person again? Absolutely.

Lillian was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Very helpful at check in and friendly. The site was as described and we are looking forward to coming back next week. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at the Spruce Creek Cabin. It exceeded our expectation of having a peaceful and beautiful location. I would highly recommend Spruce Creek Cabin for a relaxing retreat.

This was our 2nd stay at this house and we plan to return. The surroundings and property are peaceful and comfortable. There is plenty to do with the game room, TVs and fire pit. Several upgrades were made from our last visit including a new top floor bathroom remodel and a new living room sectional that was so comfortable after days of hiking. The kitchen is well appointed and blankets and towels are plentiful. This was the perfect getaway spot for our group and dogs.

Shari was an amazing host. She went above and beyond with being so helpful. Her place was exquisite. The pictures do not do the place any Justice. It was even better. We sat outside mostly just because we had great weather. The patio area we ate breakfast and played games and at night had the fire pit for s’mores, a jacuzzi. We loved it so much. Inside- the beds were extremely comfortable, everything was super clean and we had everything we needed and more for Easter prepping and cooking. We had spices, utensils, towels, shampoos, extra bedding, everything was provided. We will be returning soon.. Even the 4-5 hour drive from NYC and Ohio was well worth it - just to be in a private, peaceful and to relax on a huge property. All 6 of us had enough room and things to do. So many fun games. Plus Walmart and Dollar General are about 15-20 mins away in case we ran out of anything. Everything was so convenient and we honestly didn’t worry about anything. Our top air bnb stays thus far! 6⭐️s

This cabin and its host are amazing. The location is outstanding, perfect for stargazing. Gary is an attentive and thoughtful host. The cabin has everything you would need, and was very clean. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Susan's cabin! We appreciated the beautiful and private setting, found it clean, and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and corn hole. We're planning on returning in the future! Thanks for hosting us!
