Perfect place for our busy family to get away and reconnect. We loved our time at the lake, enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, and of course quality time together in the comfortable cottage.

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Allison’s cottage is a wonderful spot! My partner and I spent a very nice week there. Allison was so helpful, responsive, and detailed. Every room was pristinely clean, and nicely decorated. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The cabin is located close enough to attractions, restaurants, and stores, but still felt quiet and peaceful!

Our stay at Martin's place was fantastic! The property is quaint, cute and conveniently located to downtown Lichfield and surrounding nature centers and trails. A highlight for the trip was White Memorial Foundation, tons of trails along beautiful ponds, marshes and grassy hills. Martin provided amazing directions for the house and was super responsive and proactive when needs arose. I would highly recommend Martin's property to any family or group of friends looking for a relaxing and adventurous time in Northern Connecticut!

We had a nice, quiet stay at the cottage. Bilen was a responsive host when we needed to reach out during our stay. The cottage was clean with basic amenities, but if you plan to cook then make sure you bring/buy everything you need as basic pantry items (aside from cooking oil and salt/pepper) are not provided. We enjoyed using the hot tub, which was conveniently located on the back deck. Highly recommend stopping at the Monticello Bagel Bakery at least once during your stay for delicious NY bagels!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was adorable with everything you could want for a relaxing weekend away. We loved the hot tub and fire pit! The hosts included s'mores fixings and a bottle of wine..... Which was appreciated! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! Such a cozy space!!! My small family really did enjoy our peaceful stay. I would definitely book again when in the area. I felt such peace and serenity sitting under the stars, in front of the crackling campfire. It was me and the hubby with 2 of our girls ages 10 and 16. They loved the hot tub and s’mores:). Thanks for the stay.

Adorable cottage absolutely ideal for unplugging and relaxing

This is our second visit to Camp Pocono Pines and it was even better than our first. We doubled our group size this go-round which made the experience even better. I loved the addition of the camp store, which wasn’t yet available the previous winter. I could imagine that as a great communal hangout during the summer months. Having a heating element in there would have made it useable during those chilly winter nights. We can’t wait for our next trip!

Loved our stay at Lulu’s cozy, quaint and welcoming cottage! Lulu was very proactive with detailed check in instructions and was accessible during our stay. The cottage is tucked away, peaceful and had lovely views. We shopped and at dinner in Woodstock which is a wonderful area.

Darla’s cottage was such a sweet spot for a weekend getaway. Super cozy, clean, and peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. It felt tucked away in the woods but still really easy to get to, and just a few minutes down the road from Rough Cut Brewing, which was a big plus. We loved being able to grab some beers, then come back and relax inside. Darla was a great host—friendly, but gave us plenty of space. Would totally stay again next time we’re in the area!

My family, dog and I had an incredible weekend visit! It was our first time to the area and we already want to come back. Consuelo was a fantastic host! Consuelo was so easy to get a hold of for questions and was so friendly. The place was very organized, quaint and gorgeous. Thank you for a fantastic time! :)

Nice house in an excellent location equidistant from Milford and Narrowsburg. Olga was attentive and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful time staying at Kim’s place — cozy, quaint, and did the job for our weekend getaway. It’s clear that she thinks of the little things, and we really felt like we were in someone else’s carefully curated space. A couple things to note: the heat was quite loud (and I’m a light sleeper), so we ended up turning it off at night. Probably less of an issue in the summertime! Similarly, we had the luck of being rained out most of our visit. The lighting in the cabin is a little precarious for those late nights or cloudy days. Lastly, and this may be partially operator error, but the blinds didn’t really offer a ton of privacy and appeared see-through at night. The location itself was peaceful and secluded, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer that extra privacy.

Comfortable stay in a nice area.

The cottage was very clean and homey. Very convenient to new paltz and local hiking. Peaceful and quiet area. Plenty of fire wood and kitchen was stocked with snacks. We had a great stay and Amitai was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place!

“The little house” is a wonderful place to stay! It’s super spacious and was everything we were looking for. A quiet getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Beautiful decor and I loved the fireplace! The beds were very comfortable. There were 4 of us and we all felt at home in Glenn’s place. Will definitely put it on my favorites list and will return for future trips to the Catskills.

Beautiful, comfortable home. Went up for a few days of peace and quiet and got exactly what we were looking for. The cottage is well stocked, clean, and cheerful. Clear instructions made check in/out and getting around the area a breeze. The stream out back burbled like something out of a fairytale and was the perfect background noise for a countryside getaway.

We stayed at the Shattuck Hill Cottage for a ski vacation. Sandra was a great host! Close enough to the mountain to get there everyday, but far enough away to avoid the tourist congestion. The cottage was comfy and cozy and we love that we can bring our doggo. Looking forward to our next stay!

This was our second time staying at the cottage. We had a wonderful stay over the holidays. The cottage was warm and cozy and Linda had tasteful and festive decor in every nook and cranny. We had the pleasure of meeting Linda. She is a truly wonderful person who loves what she does and it shines through in her beautiful property. So much attention to detail throughout the house. We hope to be back again soon!!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Judy and Eric’s cottage! The space was cozy, spotless, and had everything I needed for a comfortable getaway. But what truly made this experience special was their incredible hospitality. A snowstorm hit during my stay, and Judy and Eric went above and beyond by allowing me to stay extra time to ensure I was safe. Their kindness and generosity truly made a difference, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The cottage itself is peaceful and charming, with a breathtaking view into the woods that made for the perfect escape. Waking up to that scenery was one of the highlights of my stay! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming retreat. Thank you, Judy and Eric—I will definitely be back!

My bf and I stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved the place! Super charming and homey and clean. Check in was extreamly easy and clear and so was checking out. Cora was the sweetest! Honestly, one of the best experiences we have ever had in an Airbnb. They keep everything you could need in the house, very very clean, hot tub was clean and easy to use. We happened to visit during a huge snow storm and the hosts were extreamly proactive and had the driveway plowed before we even thought about it and here was salt available and down. Very responsive and communicative! Wonderful experience all around would highly reccomend and will definitly be back!

Really enjoyed my stay and overall experience at The Base Cottage. Access / check-in was a breeze, signs for the property and where to park were clear (which was really appreciated given a late evening arrival) and the accomodations matched the description perfectly (a very charming place!). Just minutes away from the local attractions and great access to hiking spots in Southern High Peaks and elsewhere. Fully recommend.
