Lovely restful stay. Most comfortable bed I have slept in in ages. Very easy to find - pictures really helpful. Vintage airstream but with a modern twist.

Our second family get-together in Anna & Eric’s gorgeous “garden”. The quirky accommodation options are fully equipped with anything you could possibly need and made homely and beautiful by Anna’s tasteful interior decoration. The addition of a “Pavillion” since our last visit made our evenings even better as there was plenty of room for our group of 15 to play games late into the night, after a day of tennis, tug-of-war, trampolining, bbq, chilling in the hot tub nestled in greenery while watching their peacock stroll back and forth…

Had an amazing little break with my dog. Exactly what i needed, so beautiful and peaceful. We went on a lot of country walks and enjoyed the sunset in the evenings. My only suggestion would be to block the decking off with a gate on every access/stairway so the dogs can have roaming of decking freely. I did not realise until i arrived that they expected the dogs to be on a lead at all times and not allowed on furniture etc. It is only a small place and I do not own a long lead for my dog or expect my dog to be tied up for long periods at a time when we are away to enjoy ourselves. To avoid them running off into the field these gates in place would be ideal so you can turn your back for more than 2 mins instead of worrying. Besides from this and a brief power cut, everything was amazing and i would certainly return! Thanks so much for having us. The pictures speak for themselves!

Gemma was friendly and had 4 gorgeous kittens & a beautiful Maine Coon cat, which I adored!! Her caravan was a cheaper option for me than previous apartments I’ve rented in London. It was walkable to my place of work (I enjoy walking) and it was a private area where I could come home late from work and not disturb anyone trying go sleep. The bed was comfortable enough and there was a heater. Check-in wasn’t until 5pm, so I paid for an early check-in, as I needed to nap before work that evening. Unfortunately I also didn’t realise the caravan wasn’t self-contained (which is my fault). So at my age, having to use the bathroom meant crossing the garden and entering the house. There was also a lot of building going on within the downstairs bathroom (which Gemma was apologetic about). It was a good experience. I think the caravan is a great option for a few nights or a week’s stay during the summer months but perhaps two weeks in November was a bit too much…at my age anyway! 😔

The Google maps confused us at first and a taxi driver wasn't sure either about the exact address, but Rowena was very helpful with immediate response and the clear instructions. We arrived safely at her peaceful place and were welcome by the friendly hostess. The beds were clean and cosy, warm shower available after the long walk through the wet & muddy woods, and everything else what we needed for staying over the night was waiting for us at the campervan. Children were amazed by the horses that they could feed and the big garden with a huge trampoline. Rowena is a great hostess, finding solutions to the things that we forgot or didn't think of. Very helpful and friendly person. We will definitely return to stay longer at her beautiful farm! Thank you x

We loved our stay in the campervan, Rose explained everything really well and the location is ideal for nearby Chichester/Bosham etc. The camper is well equiped and it felt like a little quirky adventure away from it all. We hope to be back in the future.

We booked fairly last min to enjoy the sunshine forecasted for our stay - and we were absolutely thrilled! The cabin very cute inside with lovely attention to detail. Super cosy and the surrounding setting is beautiful! We stayed with our dog and loved how secluded it is - plenty of fields to go for a wander. We loved cooking outside too! We drove down from South London, so was super easy to get too and just the perfect relaxed weekend. I'm sure we'll visit again - would highly recommend! Our toddler loved staying in the 'train house' , the space, both inside and outside, was perfect for us!

Had an amazing couple of nights at Nuthatch! The hut was beautifully done and the outside space was magical, especially the hot tub under the stars! Location was so peaceful and felt very safe yet very private. Thank you!

Got exactly what I paid for. Great little place, local to the shops with a nice walk through the forest including a windmill in the distance. It’s been a while since I’ve done anything with nature and a fire so I loved my 2 nights and the hut is great with that little wood burner and other little quirky things

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the sunset hut. The hut is very well equipped for self catering and is very clean and pleasantly decorated. It's so peaceful there and very private, the other holiday cottage or the owners house being nearby doesn't affect this one bit. The fresh eggs from the chickens was a lovely addition and I bought some of Petra's homemade jam and chutney to take home. I slept like a log in the comfy bed. I really cannot fault the place. I will be going back there for sure. Thanks Petra and Matt.

Retro Staycations was an amazing experience. We stayed in the airstream caravan Walt, which had little nods toward Walt Disney around the caravan. Everything was spotless and charming. Outside was well equipped with our own deck chairs, a picnic table, a fire pit and a BBQ. It was so lovely sat out in the sun overlooking fields, cooking our supper and chilling. Once it was dark we had an amazing view of the stars. The whole experience had a relaxed atmosphere and we came away after two nights not wanting to leave. Both Sarah & Alex from Retro Staycations we’re both friendly and very helpful. Thank you. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really appreciate Brett and Claire taking our booking last minute. They were very kind and inviting, Claire gave a great discrimination of the local area. The space itself is very clean and had everything we needed. We are a family of four and would be happy to stay again.
