Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

The cottage has its own private dry stone walled patio area with parking nearby. We are 1.5 miles along Edale Road from the village of Hope and 1 mile from The Cheshire Cheese Inn. With many walking routes right from the door directly onto a close by footpath adjacent to the River Noe.
