非常喜欢这个房源。位于Ukegawa附近的乡村里，晚上有雨声和虫鸣声，非常舒服。我一个人入住所以独享了整个房子，房子非常宽敞，有两张床，床上都有独立的蚊帐。二楼有宽敞的客厅和榻榻米，应该能让更多人入住。 另外Yuki的欢迎面包非常好吃！ 虽然我没开车，但是民宿的staff Midori-san在我有需要的时候会开车带我出行，并收取非常合理的费用。很感谢她。

Our stay was wonderful. It was our first ever stay in Japan. When we landed later than expected, M stayed up for us. I also messed up on the amount of people I reserved. M was super understanding and we were able to change the booking with her that night. She also gave us a good list of local restaurant recommendations. As well as home made blueberry honey jam which was delicious. The cabin itself is super nice, comfy, cozy and so peaceful. It was a great stay and I would highly recommend. I don’t know when I will be back in Japan, but when I do, I will be back.

3家族みんなで利用させていただいたのですが、オーナーは子供にもうちのおじいとおばあにも優しく、時には楽しく接していただき、良い時間を過ごせました。 囲炉裏もあってご飯も美味しくお酒と話がすすみサイコウな夜でした。 ありがとうございました。

Great stay in the mountainside of Japan but still very accessible by car. Hosts were an elderly couple (Yuka's parents) whom really went the mile to make sure we're welcomed and at home. My mother had the delight of partaking in Ikebana with Yuka's mom on the following morning of our stay, essentially a short trip to gather flowers in nearby areas and then back to the house for a flower arrangement tutorial. Lovely people that takes care of a lovely place, thank you for the hospitality!

Nach 14 Tagen Tokyo und Kyoto haben wir uns auf Osaka ..ruhiger und eher typischer Japanisch sehr gefreut. Makota hat uns vom Bahnhof abgeholt. Kontakt war sofort herzlich und unkompliziert. Unsere Unterkunft Gästehaus 2 war wie gebucht. Einfach , keine Betten, Matrazen oben auf einer Empore , Aufstieg mit steiler Leiter. Fußbodenheizung., einfache Küche, herdplatte, Backofen….Toller Gemüsegarten. Eigener Schrein. 4 Gartenstühle…was ich bisher nirgends gesehen habe. Altes traditionelles Haus. Fahrräder vorhanden. Bahnhof zu Fuß 10 Minuten weg. Sportanlagen und Park in der Nähe. Viele Läden und Lokale. Umgebung schön. Makoto und Frau geben Infos, man kann gemeinsam kochen und essen, Onsen und Tempel besuchen, im Garten mitarbeiten…. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. Sollte ich wieder nach Japan reisen wohnen wir wieder bei Makoto und Naomi

Great place, very peaceful and quiet. The birds and sounds at night are wonderful. The bamboo forest behind the house is super cool. It’s not the easiest place to walk to or take public transport too as a Tokyo base, but Scott is very helpful and accommodating and makes it as easy as it can be way out there. Great spot to stay for the airport, and Scott dropping you off there is a big help. Being our first time in Japan, I really would have liked to picks Scott’s brain at the start rather than end. Overall a great experience. And we picked up some of Noriko’s pottery too!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is adorable and gives you a good feel of Japanese home life. It has everything you could need. It is very walkable to konbini and restaurants. The hikes and nature nearby are lovely. My son and I enjoyed the garden (fun for some no-too-tricky hide and seek!). Would definitely stay here again!

Staying at Hitoshi’s place was a real treat for us! A great place for my three sons and I to get away for a few days from Big city vibes! Hitoshi and his friend Emiko made us feel so welcome. Emiko is an amazing cook, who spoiled us with her tasty and beautiful locally inspired cooking. Hitoshi is a great host full of enthusiasm for where he lives. It’s not easy to get to, with tight windy one lane roads, but if you do you will have a unique experience. I highly recommend.

A spacious & beautiful house. Bring a large group! We enjoyed playing in the snow outside, and short walk or drive to the Monkey Park. The house was spotless, and very comfortable.

Hiro is een hele vriendelijke, snel reagerende en attente host. Onze aankomsttijd was een paar uur verlaat en dit was geen enkel probleem, we werden nog steeds persoonlijk welkom geheten. Eenmaal in het appartement waren alle verzieningen zoals beloofd en vooral het bad en de authentieke inrichting maakte ons verblijf een geweldige ervaring. Daarnaast had Hiro veel leuke lokale tips. Van harte aanbevolen!

BEAUTIFUL stay! We absolutely loved staying here. We couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful a place could be when it’s only 8 minutes to the airport. Such a kind host with delicious peaches!!!!! This was also a great stat for our baby (7 months). We recommend this stay to everyone!

My second stay with Tomoyuki since two years ago. Everything went beautifully as expected. The weather was not cooperating on one of the four days but that allowed me to stay in to enjoy this vintage tradition home and felt the tranquility it presented itself on a rainy day. The hike nearby was kimochīi (feeling great). The izakayas recommended were subarashī (wonderful). Tomo introduced me to spend a day at Mashiko. The famous pottery town was preparing for the upcoming Golden Week event and I appreciated "the calm before the storm" time strolling the quiet town. Some keepsakes were bought. I look forward to another visit soon, maybe in a different season to appreciate the range of activities available around the area.

Lianne is a super friendly and responsive host. The place is cozy as your own home with the great pellet stove.

My family of six had a beautiful stay! We arrived late in the evening & only stayed for one night. My regret is that I wished we stayed longer! We had an immaculate view of Mt Fuji from the balcony, windows, and viewing deck - my whole family enjoyed it. Convenience stores were close by and only a 5-min drive to Oishi Park. Check in was easy and seamless! The rooms were cosy and had everything we needed. Thank you - will definitely stay again!

Absolutely stunning home! Very traditional and beautifully decorated, spotless clean and lovely design. Very comfortable traditional Japanese beds and pillows (floor mats), we fell in love and want this type of beds in our home now! Kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need! We had a welcome pack left for us- water, rice, Japanese tea and coffee with all the instructions on how to brew it Japanese way. Parking is outside the house. Kohei was very responsive and helpful- gave us loads of recommendations on where to eat and what to visit, so huge help! We were lucky and our stay was during Furakawa festival which was the highlight of our stay in Hida. Absolutely amazing and beautiful and traditional festival which was right outside our house. Location is absolutely amazing with the river nearby, loads of temples around, sakura blossoms too! Cute little local restaurants and cafes. People are very friendly- we are in love! Thank you, Kohei!
