If you are looking for a quirky, yet charming, cabin in quiet woods… this is the place! We wanted something peaceful and private for New Years, and this place definitely delivered. The kitchen is a bit outdated, so you may not want to cook a large dinner there (didn’t bother us), however the two full bathrooms were recently renovated and felt very luxurious- LOVED that shower! There is also a nice loop trail right outside of the cabin, clearly marked with blue dots. Our dog, somehow, already knew the way. And speaking of dogs, for a place that is dog friendly, the owners certainly do a great job of making sure the place is clean and smells nice. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

It was exactly what we expected. Nice relaxing getaway in this beautiful lake house with a great game room. Jenni was always available for us if we needed her. Can't wait till next time.

Sarah’s place was very clean and extremely well equipped in every aspect, kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor etc. So many amenities, we felt like we were still home . The basement was such a great addition for kids and adults to play ping pong, air hockey, arts and crafts. Kids can spend hours down there. Backyard is fenced and although it backs to I-196, we were not bothered. I cannot imagine how beautiful it is once the trees are green. If you have kids and want to get away from the city with minimal planning of all the things to bring, this is the place. There is a beach nearby, 3 min drive, cannot wait to come back during summer months. Sarah, thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Cute house, plenty of beds and places to sleep. Great restaurants in walking distance. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond while staying. The only recommendations would be to have a fire pit, the weather was great and would have loved to spend more time outside.

Omg Kiley , your place was amazing. Soon as I walked into the home. It felt like I was home. The home was very warm and cozy. Soon as you walk into the home it felt so home -ie. I just love the place . I didn't even want to check out. I love the view , the quietness. And also Kiley you was a great host. You kept me inform and you were easy to stay in contact with. But I live your place and I'll come back.

we were not able to stay because at check in the furnace was not working but Jay was very quick to respond and got us a quick refund so we could rebook elsewhere. Will look into staying here my next time in Grand rapids.

Fantastic place to stay. We felt right at home. Lately it seems that hosts are no longer leaving a snack basket for the guests. But Dennis left a nice basket. While I realize this is minor for some, to me it shows that the host truly cares about the guests. I run most mornings and I felt very safe in the neighborhood.

Kara is so lovely and super responsive and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It reminded me of my Aunt’s bed and breakfast growing up — so cozy and surrounded by beauty. Can’t wait to return.

Kara’s place was a perfect spot to stay for a couple nights while in town skiing at Bittersweet Mountain Resort…was super close to all the cool breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants in downtown Kalamazoo…highly recommend!

My Husband and I booked this location to delve into Imago Therapy- specifically co-creating our relationship vision, as shared in the book, “Getting the Love You Want”- by Harville and Hunt. Kara’s location and space was intimate, quiet, and had literally everything we needed and some. From full stocked towels, robes, toiletries, spices, pots and pans, ice, a Buddha, Tea, Coffee maker, and more… The decor is aesthetically pleasing and nourished to the lessons/therapy we engaged with. As well as our state of BEing. When we walked in, it felt like a home away from home- yet the perfect love nest. We cooked meals in the strategically placed and stocked & organized kitchen. Listened to music and worked on our marriage in the cozy living room space. The couch super cozy and perfect for cuddling. I love how the spaces are nice separated in such a quaint space. Kara as a host was a delight to engage with, and the response time impeccable. Definitely a space we will book again.

Comfy, cozy and convenient to downtown. We'll book this home again the next time we come to Grand Rapids. By the way, Grand Rapids has a cool downtown. Who knew?

We had a lovely time at Toni and we felt at home I love the decoration and there was everything we need. Lovely neighbours downstairs We felt included and care for.

Good place to stay

I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The hosts were beyond friendly, easy to talk to, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The cleanliness of the space was impeccable—everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the breakfast; it was absolutely perfect! What we appreciated most was that they never rushed us or nagged us about timing, allowing us to relax and enjoy our morning at our own pace. Another standout feature was their generosity. They allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us to a better room at no extra charge. This level of hospitality is rare and truly made our experience exceptional. To top it all off, we got to enjoy the fire pit in the evening, which was such a cozy and relaxing touch. It made for the perfect way to unwind and added to the overall charm of our stay. Would definitely come back!

Sherry and Tim made us feel at home, shared wonderful conversations, provided privacy, and served amazing breakfast. With Sherry’s technical understanding to the climate, their “original wine selection” is diverse and delicious. Tim’s Chef expertise is best in class, and their home is spaciously comfortable. My wife and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more and we will certainly repeat our stay. Highly recommend!

We only had one night available to stay in Douglas and felt so lucky to find a spot at The Forest Inn. The updated property was just stunning and I wish there had been more time to enjoy just sitting on the wraparound porch or lounging in the games room. We did get a chance to dip into the pool, which was so peaceful. We saw deer roaming in the woods nearby the first afternoon and again while eating breakfast on the porch. I just loved every bit of our comfortable stay. It's walking distance to a favorite local beach and the walk along Lakeshore Drive with coffee in the morning was really relaxing. We'd love to stay again and plan to bike around the neighborhood and over to the downtown spots we love in both Saugatuck and Douglas. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay! It was very comfortable, the food was great and the location was amazing! We loved the extremely short walk to the private beach. We also took advantage of the free bikes, our bike rides were one of my favorite memories. Very beautiful place and lovely hosts.

I cannot rave enough how much I LOVED Inisfree Farm. From the moment we arrived onto the property, I knew my husband and I were in for a treat. The most AMAZING HIDDEN GEM 💎 Bruce & Peggy are such gracious hosts with such beautiful personalities. You can see and feel the passion in what they do, from the delicious food prepared, to the wonderful conversation and charm in each room you enter. The special touches in our room made for a peaceful & romantic night. Please visit Inisfree Farm as you will be in for an AMAZING experience. I truly did not want to leave and can't wait to go back. Continuous blessings to Peggy, Bruce and son Patrick. Meeting the 3 of them is what I call a "God Wink"😉

Arlene and Tom were warm and welcoming hosts; their hospitality is umatched! We felt like family when we were there, and Arlene's breakfasts were delightful. We were blessed to have found such a gem, and hope to stay with them again someday!

We had such a lovely time at the Centennial Inn. The house is gorgeous, quiet, and within walking distance of downtown Holland. Centennial Park is right across the street, which made the view from our room fantastic. And don’t sleep on the continental breakfast! Great options, delicious, and great coffee on top of that.
