Kamesei Ryokan, quiet onsen inn, private budget rm

Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

The Joint Hakuba is centrally located in the heart of Echoland Hakuba. A short stroll to restaurants, bars, cafes. Open fire place in our comfortable lounge room ,watch Netflix. Located a 15 min walk / 4 min drive from Tsugaike kogen ski area, a beautiful log cabin villa at the end of the road. The home features five ensuite bedrooms, carpeted and wood flooring throughout the home and heating throughout - everything you need to keep warm and cozy while enjoying the winter.
