We loved staying at Kate’s. Mingling with the other people camping/glamping in the communal areas was great. The house was perfect for our group.

We had a great stay over xmas and new years, it was a really nice family space and an ideal base for relaxing and enjoying Reefton and the surrounding area. Communication with Alice and Eamon was quick and easy.

Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! quiet little cottage that had everything we needed. well stocked and Sarah even prepared extra food (if we needed it, with an honesty box). charming! kumara is a small one street town.

Great place for our family to stay. Walking distance to the heart of Reefton. Outside area was fabulous. Clean and comfortable house.

This place was ideal for us. A group of 8 hiking enthusiasts. The house was clean and stylishly presented. It had everything we needed and the location was ideal especially the access to Truman track and onto the beach. The bush surrounds were enchanting and the sunset we saw from the balcony magical. Highly recommend for more than a 1 night stay.

Jussara was a great host. Always available and helpful. very chatty. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Living on the next door property meant she could soon come over if needed [not that we did]. A big house with well equipped kitchen. Would happily use again.

Thanks for a lovely stay. The house is just like the photos, or perhaps even nicer / more spacious. Great location a few minutes to the beach / town.

Really happy to have chosen Claire’s place in Hokitika. Heaps of space and very comfortable and easy to communicate. Hokitika is a great place to spend a couple of days- unique and a real surprise in so many ways.

We loved everything about our stay. Beautiful spot when hunkering down on the rainy days, close to town but with a feeling of being away from it all, ocean view and space to spread out. Claire was incredibly accommodating with our families needs and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend at least 2 days.

Absolutely beautiful home everything in the description was spot on also just would like to highlight this bestest host would recommend to any one the heat pump in the lounge was cost and warm kept us all cosy throughout our stay would recommend a two night stay or more one night is not enough thanks Claire for been a amazing host and we will be definitely back to stay.

Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Clean, tidy. lovely and quiet at night. we were worried a hostel would be noisy at night. All ages booked in. Young and elderly. Good friendly atmosphere

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

We had a wonderful time in Hokitika, made even better by having such an exquisitely decorated, clean and functional place to stay and relax. We would go back to Dalton Cottage in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍

Charmante petite chambre chez Karen et Nigel. Un coucher de soleil magnifique à 5 minutes à pied ! Nous avons été acceuilli chaleureusement. Le lieu est calme et reposant ! Le jaccusi était à bonne température pour se détendre quelques minutes !

Lovely cheap, cheerful and cozy little pop top. Good kitchen set up. Spa next to pop top which is shared with other guests. Great hosts!
