great location and amenities - we really appreciated the garage parking spot as it's in a popular beach area. Easy access to the beach boardwalk, and the house has a nice saltwater pool and spa with all the floaties and life jackets for the kids. We found everything we needed to have a fantastic spring break!

Nestled in the scenic hills of El Cajon, the property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a true retreat. Every detail, from the plush linens to the fully stocked kitchen, made us feel pampered and at home. Waking up to the golden California sun streaming through the windows and enjoying coffee on the patio with panoramic views was a daily highlight. The outdoor space is a dream—lush landscaping, a relaxing seating area, and the kind of quiet that lets you truly unwind. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Great place with a very central location, close to the airport and zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities offered at the home. Lacee was very responsive and accommodating.

This spot is so cozy and quiet. Very convenient for visiting SDSU and other local attractions. I also appreciated being able to park behind the gate in the driveway instead of street parking.

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable with a beautiful outdoor area and comfortable interior with everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Marjorie and Dan’s home was vey nice, clean and bright. We felt very comfortable there. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Jaime’s house exceeded our expectations. The location was stunning and the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We are a family of five, and it was nice to be able to spread out, relax and enjoy a space that felt like home. We did not have a car but found the location was fairly close to most San Diego attractions. It is a short walk down to Old Town which has lots of eateries and the transit station, where you can catch the trolley and buses. We used Uber too. Jaime provided lots of great ideas for places to go and was friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with.

Laura is a very responsible and thoughtful host. The house was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The house itself is lovely, well-maintained, and spotless. It's in a super convenient location—within walking distance to a park, restaurants, and more. Parking was also very easy, which made things even better. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

We rented this for my sister’s bachelorette and it was PERFECT! It was decorated very beautifully and was clean!

This location is ideal for quick pickups and is conveniently close to popular tourist spots. A vehicle is recommended for easy access. The presence of fruit trees adds a delightful touch, making it a very sweet and appealing place to stay. Will stay here again!
