The best rental house I’ve ever booked. There was nothing missing. I appreciated that they provided basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, pepper, etc and they provided hand soap, dish washing liquid, etc. that many other rentals do not provide. The extra towels for the lake and hot tub were a huge help. If I had to pick one negative to point out to renters, it would be that if you have kids under 3 you will have to watch them very closely with the open stairs. But the rest of house, grounds, furniture, etc are all kid friendly. The house and grounds are beautiful, just as described. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We had a nice wonderful, relaxing week! Very nice and understanding host/co-host. Stocked with pretty much everything you need except your clothes! We loved all of the throws that were available. Plenty of options of things to do and CLEAN. We definitely look forward to visiting again!

The home was very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided - abundance of towels, all necessary kitchen gadgets, cookware, dishware and glassware. We were pleased with the dock and lake access. Exactly what we were looking for.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown and would totally recommend this place to other family’s that enjoy sitting by the lake and enjoying the amazing views. The host was an amazing person that was very responsive and understanding to my questions. I would surely be back to visit again!

Our stay at Caitlin’s was perfect! With three young kids we had plenty of space to run around and explore outside and eat, play and sleep inside! The house is a dream come true for kids - there was a fun bunkbed, toys and games in the living room, a playset outside, a tube slide from the back porch down to the yard, a hammock and a fire pit to roast marshmallows. The house and location felt comfortable, safe and clean. Caitlin provided recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We really enjoyed the transpiration museum in Spencer and all the parks and playgrounds around Salisbury and Lexington. Everything was an easy car ride away. We will definitely be back!

Jaime's home was great and matched their listing page to the T. The house sets in a beautiful location of Badin Lake, within a cul-de-sac and was very quiet. Nothing negative to write about our stay and definitely recommend! May revisit in the future. 😊

Delightful cozy home at the end of an inlet of the lake. We loved using the kayaks to paddle to the main body of High Rock Lake. The house was so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and walking around the neighborhood. We did have a couple of questions and Moopoint answered almost immediately. We were there just two nights and stayed put with plenty to do.

We had a fun time and wished we could stay longer. Greg’s home is really clean and has fun games and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come again.

Absolutely wonderful stay, comfortable, peaceful, quiet, and easy to tune into nature yet be within 30 minutes of things to-do! Host was wonderful! would recommend this home if you're looking for a little time out of your normal schedule to truly enjoy the sounds of nature and have a beautiful view.

Stayed while taking the little guy to Polar Express. Had a great long weekend and was an easy 25 min to the train. Coldest night of the year and loved it. Would recommend arriving during the day but we managed at night. Looking forward to visiting again in warmer months.

Our stay at the Blue Heron Bungalow was great! It was as described. The home is well appointed with all of the comforts of home. The bed was super comfy and the sheets and pillows were top notch. The view from the master bedroom was really pretty. We loved visiting Stony mountain winery and the Five Points restaurant was great. We also ate at Tillery Tradition which was very good and a nice atmosphere. Next time we will bring our golf clubs. Thanks to our host and hostess for being so responsive and providing a wonderful experience!

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

The little lake house was a wonderful getaway. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The back porch is a relaxing lakeside paradise. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The house was beautiful and in pristine condition in a very quiet neighborhood. Ample parking on site large enough to accommodate our truck, boat, and car! Host was very kind and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

We were right on the edge of the lake! The place was beautifully situated and, at least during the time that we were there, very serene and beautiful! There was an Osprey's nest right across the water from the dock and we could sit out and watch the mother and father Osprey bring food to the babies in the nest. There were Blue Herons gliding across the lake, and Egrets, and fish occasionally jumping. The house itself was large and well furnished and we had more than enough room for the 6 people in our party. All in all, a very nice vacation experience!

Everything as described - perfect location - perfect space and my son caught his first catfish right off the dock. Will definitely be back!

This lake home was so warm and cozy! We loved our stay and our family had so much fun! The grandkids loved the swim float and the kayaks! The dining room table was big enough for a nice family dinner! The view was breathe taking! The only thing that might be a suggestion was more room to put food! There were no upper cabinets or a pantry for all the groceries, but we made due and it was perfect!

We loved our stay! The home is comfortable with great space to relax with my family and dogs. It was great to have a grill, a kitchen with everything needed to do a little cooking, and outdoor space that was good rain or shine (the screened in porch is awesome!), and the deck with very comfortable furniture. Check in is easy, and the house has everything you'll need for relaxing visit. They have floats and life jackets too if you want to head down to the dock, and so many different places where you can gather too hang out. We had a great time getting into the lake, and it was fun to have the dock. I brought my kayak and paddleboard and it was easy to take them down to the water too. We definitely recommend booking and look forward to returning!

I had a great stay at Dockside Retreat during the High Point Furniture Market. It was the perfect lake house getaway — peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after long days at the market. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a beautiful view of the lake. Victoria was very helpful throughout the entire process, making everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient stay!

It was cold during our stay, so we didn't get to use the many outdoor amenities, but we still enjoyed our time there. Perhaps we will get to stay again when the weather is warmer. Elizabeth provides so many amenities inside that all you need to pack is food and clothes. There are plenty of dishes and spices, dog bowl, dog beds, too many little, but needed, items to mention.
