Your group will enjoy easy access to everything in the area. With one 1/2 mile of river frontage and board walk access to the river. Secluded in the woods with the wildlife. 2 minute drive to town. Close to head trails for all your off road adventures. Higgins, Houghton lake, Lake St Helen and the Mason Track all about 15 minutes away. In warm weather, step to our private beach on a clear, sandy-bottom lake perfect for swimming, wading, fishing, boating, etc. When the weather cools off, enjoy miles of trails for walking, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Ski at Hansen Hills or bundle up and go ice fishing. We are about 10 minutes from the Manistee and Au Sable for fly fishing, canoeing, and tubing.

Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby.
