We had a great time and a very peaceful weekend! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone trying to get away and relax for a couple of days!

Audrey's cottage was the perfect place for our quiet anniversary getaway- absolutely gorgeous location right on the creek in beautiful nature, and yet a quick (8 mins!) drive to downtown Lancaster. The cottage itself is very chic and well decorated, we could tell that lots of thought and care went into the space. Huge fan of the aesthetic of the place! The deck out back is spectacular with two tiers and plenty of space to sunbathe/eat/have coffee and the hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The weather during our stay was unfortunately too cold and rainy to do much outdoor activity, but we were excited at the prospect of the canoe nonetheless. The bed was super comfy. Overall I highly recommend this cottage and we will certainly be back!

Our stay at Whitetail Cottage exceeded our expectations! The cottage was cozy, clean, and stocked with everything we needed . It was like a breath of fresh air when we walked in the front door. Very welcoming and decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable , and we appreciated the night lights in every room . The view from the front porch of the house is a large green field that we enjoyed watching several deer graze and a momma fox playing with her cubs. Kyle was fantastic ! He was always available to answer our questions and highly responsive to messages . Highly recommend !!

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

Very cute place. As described and stocked with everything we needed. Nice little weekend getaway while we were getting work done on our house.

We enjoyed our stay. We had s’mores over fire out one night. Wood was supplied. Plenty of towels Having one bathroom was not as convenient for 5 people but we enjoyed our stay. Grandkids enjoyed park across street. I would recommend. House was clean. Enjoyed coffee bar.

This place was a great location, walkable to many activities. Although close to attractions, it was very peaceful and relaxing. Oen can tell a lot of thoughtfulness has been put in to make this rental feel luxurious and restful. Would definitely return.

A cozy in-law apartment in a detached former garage. In the country, but only 10 minutes or so from downtown Harrisburg, and easy access to the interstate. Hosts were very friendly and responsible, helping me right awaywhen I accidentally locked myself out. Very pet-friendly. A great stay.

This beautiful, quaint cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. There are neighbors, but you are not right on top of eachother and the setting felt very remote and private. Excellent proximity to Lancaster. Sitting on the porch in the morning seeing and listening to all the different kinds of birds was a dream!

Leslie's cottage was peaceful, clean, and certainly charming. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, it was wonderful stay for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were cozy and clean. The "third bedroom" is in fact just a single bed in the living room but we didn't mind. We stayed during the off season so we didn't have access to the pool but the backyard was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our dog to enjoy. The neighbors nearby had many dogs that would often bark throughout the day and sometimes night. We didn't mind since we're used to it but for others might be an annoyance for if you're expecting true silence. The wifi also was unreliable and often did not work if at all. Luckily we were able to make due with what signal we had in the countryside. Leslie was very polite, responsive and informative. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you Leslie!

My sister-in-law and I took my nephew and two of his buddies to Hershey Park to celebrate his 13th birthday, and the cottage was absolutely perfect! The house was everything the listing promised and more. I've stayed in quite a few Airbnbs, and the care and investment put into this property is clear the moment you pull up. It rained the day we planned to go to the park, but the guest book came to the rescue! We ordered from Nobel's Pizza (which was excellent), and took the boys to play unlimited laser tag—just $20 and only 10 minutes from the house. The next day, we made it to the park, which was no more than 15 minutes away. I’ll absolutely recommend this place to anyone heading to Hershey Park! Perfect location, perfect host, perfect vibe.

Amazing stay, we had a great time. Brought our hypoallergenic dog. I always get a little worried about staying at places that allow animals because I am allergic to dogs/cats, however this place was so clean I had no issues. waking up in the morning and seeing the chickens, cows, donkeys and emus was so fun. The outdoor space was dreamy. We brought a projector and watched football on Sunday. We also went to the rennissance faire one day and had so much fun. Fresh flowers and homemade scones for check in was such a nice touch. There is a reason this place is rated so highly.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was clean and cozy, just what we needed for some over due family time and R&R. We had a great time fishing the creek, exploring the town and trails and enjoying the wildlife. Lost of ducks, geese, even goslings, salamanders, turtles, deer, rabbits and a woodpecker! The place had everything we needed.

This was our favorite spot thus far! The river view through all the windows and from the deck is breathtaking. DO NOT MISS THE SUNSETS! The house is very clean with a beautiful bathroom. It looks just like the photos. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our dog loved it there as well; very dog friendly. My daughter wanted to spend her 20th birthday here and it was perfect! We even got to fish. And bring your running and hiking shoes! I easily had 22000 steps in one day. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. After our check out we headed across the river and enjoyed the view at Chickies Rock. If you like River life and hiking this is for you. Or just to get away and relax or work remotely. I hope to go back. Side note: I heard positive things about the hosts from the neighbors.

I LOVED this house. Beautiful picture windows right in front to see the buggies go by. There was a porch to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather on Saturday. Coffee shop a few steps away. Plenty of space to set up crafts and still have living space. I was there for Quilt week and did some sewing and they had great lighting! Everything was perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Ann's place was perfect fornour weekend trip to Hershey! The home was very comfortable and my daughter even called it "pretty". A few minutes drive to Hershey Park and any other attractions. Right across the street from a good restaurant as well! Ann's place also was kid friendly with a nice swing in the back and toys and chalk for the outdoors. I would highly recommend for a smaller family looking to get away to Hershey for the weekend. Ann was also very responsive! We thank you for letting us use your place for a most wonderful weekend!

We had a great stay! The home was simple, clean, and perfect for a quiet getaway. It rained for most of our trip, but we were still able to enjoy the gazebo and even make a fire one evening. The beds were super comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets to keep cozy. One night we went out to Whitehorse Luncheonette for steak night—everything was delicious, and the sweet tea was perfect. Will definitely be back

This is our third stay here at the Summer Kitchen. We lived down the street and moved away 8 years ago so it was like coming home. The cottage is so cozy and private. Jillian was so nice, welcoming and responsive. We try to stay here whenever we come back to town. The Youngs

This was a great place to spend a few days with two teens while we did some exploring of the area. We hit both Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland, which were in easy driving distance. The house was clean and welcoming with space enough for all. The kitchen was also well thought out and it was nice to come back at the end of the day for a meal. Thanks again!

We stayed 3 nights with our young grandchildren they enjoyed the pool area and the fire pit. (For the s’mores of-course) There was enough room for the 4 of us to sit and relax watch tv and play some games. The house is centrally located to the restaurants,entertainment,and sight and sound theater. had a great time away and would visit Ruth’s home again.
