Absolutely loved our stay here!! The unit was conveniently located right on Weeki Wachi with river access and plenty of water toys! The location was still private and peaceful. It was extremely clean and there wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t provided! Very responsive host. Can’t say enough great things, looking forward to staying here again sometime

This is a true hidden gem for couples! It’s not easy to find a rental with such a private, romantic feel. The bathroom was wow! Such cozy, private, peaceful setting. I would highly recommend and would stay if in the area again! Wish there were more rentals with such romantic options! Thanks for a great place to stay!

This house is a perfect location on the Weeki Wachee River! It was a perfect spot for a little spring break getaway with my family of four. Comfortable living quarters and an awesome deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. The inside is a bit dated, which is why I gave 4/5 for the value. But the place is spotlessly clean and the location can't be beat. Outside: Plenty of kayaks for everyone to use and an easy dock made for a quick launch. The backyard firepit was perfect for s'mores as the sun set. Tabitha was happy to give us a late checkout (with a super speedy response) so we could enjoy one more morning on the river. Def would recommend!

This home is perfect. It is the little things that Giselle had available in every corner of the home. Coffee, k-cups, creamer/sugar, condiments, kayaks and life jackets, even a set a binoculars to view the birds that frequent the area. A very nice collection of games to play along with a fully stocked kitchen of utensils and serving ware. We cooked at home a couple of nights, so that was very helpful. We felt safe, and the pool area was amazing for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. The extensive library was a favorite of my wife’s: classic and contemporary novels, travel, history, biographies. . . Something for everyone! We were there with two families. The boys turkey hunted Green Swamp which is only about an hour drive from this home. We caught fish off the dock and on the water, so that made it even better. We drove to Clearwater Beach one day as well which is about 1.5hrs depending on traffic. 10 out of 10 recommend “Water’s Edge!”

Such a cute spot and a quick kayak ride to the beautiful clear weeki Wachee river. Couldn’t find the washer and dryer and Derick responded very quickly. Would def stay again :)

The property itself was beautiful and had great potential; however, it would benefit from more consistent maintenance and upkeep. Upon arrival, the beds were not properly made, with ruffled covers and noticeable stains on all the bedding. There was no tissue available in the downstairs area, and the bathroom had visible hair and residue from previous guests, both on the floor and in the shower. Additionally, the hot tub was unfortunately filled with dirty water, which made it unusable. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and pool area. The sunset views were absolutely stunning, and it was a joy to watch the dolphins when they appeared. The overall scenery was incredibly peaceful, and being right on the water added a serene and relaxing touch to the experience.

The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

After spending a week at Weeki Wachee, we left feeling this location was the very best. We loved the patio and screened porch. Both faced the clear Weeki Wachee River. Pavers that step down to the water extend the full length of the patio so that you have direct access to the water just about anywhere you sit. The Adirondack chairs, fire pit area, outdoor dining table and the screened porch comfortable seating and dining table were in constant use. We never went inside except to cook or sleep. It was so nice to have kyacks on site ready for use. Early morning and late afternoon were the best times to enjoy the patio as boat traffic on the river calmed down. In addition to manatees and schools of jumping mullet, we saw great egrets, funny swimming anhinga, otters, and even an adolescent barred owl on the small tree adjacent to the patio. It was an amazing stay.

We booked our vacation as a bucket list trip for my mom who has Alzheimer’s . My mom grew up in Orlando and had visited Weeki Wachee (where mermaids swim) when she was young. This fueled her obsession of being a mermaid when she grew up. We decided as a family that this was the time to make my 72 year old mom’s dream come true. Jennifer’s place is about 10 minutes from Weeki Wachee which is what initially caught my eye. The place was absolutely beautiful! It sits on the canal where we drank coffee and wine and watched boats and kayaks go up and down the canal. We also were able to see beautiful birds of all kind every morning and evening. There is plenty of chairs to sit inside and out to watch all the coming and going on the canal. Plus there a pool and a sandy beach in the back yard. But most of all we were able to check off one of my mom’s bucket list items and make some lasting memories with her in a beautiful resort like setting.
