I highly recommend the Little House in the Woods if you are in the Ruston area! My husband and I were in town for a baseball series against LaTech and travelling with a pet. The house was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we and our pooch needed. I loved relaxing on the front screened porch in the evenings. It's a very quick ride to Ruston for restaurants and stores. Also want to add that everyone in the area was so friendly!

Steve was super quick to respond to any questions and even helped us out to add an extra day to our stay on short notice! The place was plenty large to have a small group and was quite comfortable. The back yard view from the living was also very pleasant! Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

Easter 2025 - great stay! Nicely remodeled, very comfortable and clean. Beds and couches were very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice treat as well - would be especially so in colder months. We enjoyed movie night in the game room overlooking the lake after our relaxing hot tub massage, caught a 4-5-lb catfish off the dock, and got some really cool pictures of the family w/trees & lake in the background. They are still building up basic kitchen supplies, but it should be noted that Cody was extremely responsive and accommodating!! I knew I was planning to cook meals so asked in advance and simply brought anything else I needed. Amenities should be edited to read “Keurig” rather than coffee pot 😊. Also, not pictured in the listing, the home does have a dining table for four people. We needed more seating, so we brought an extra card table and four chairs. I would definitely recommend Cody ’s place, and hope to stay here again next time we visit our Louisiana family. Thanks Cody! *****

Michael’s place was very clean and large. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. They were great with communication and responded quickly.

I needed a place for me and a turkey hunting buddy to stay close to the Kisatchie National Forest, and this was it! Very comfortable home with nice amenities and tons of charm. The Kilgore’s were very nice and welcoming.

Cute and cozy place to stay while visiting family for the holidays. Enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very attentive - and greeted us with a lovely gift basket.

The little cabin is just perfect for the two of us. It’s nice and clean and has everything we need. I would like to recommend you add gravel to your driveway under the carport.
