We stayed at this Airbnb for 5 weeks with two dogs. The house is a tiny bit dated, but super nice, very spacious, and extremely homey! I think this was the most well stocked Airbnb we've ever rented. There were plenty of towels, bedding, and blankets. The kitchen had tons of cookware and gadgets. We cook a lot and had no issues for the entirety of our stay. Theresa is a responsive, helpful, and kind host. As for the location of the place, it's perfectly located in a little neighborhood walking distance from Yachats's main strip. There is a small path around the neighborhood that leads to the beach. It's location makes accessing stops up and down the coast super convenient. There is a grocery store 2 minutes away, along with a handful of cafes and restaurants. We worked remotely the whole time and had no issues with the wifi. Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay and would stay again. The pups loved it!

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s very peaceful with a great view of the ocean from the family room. The high fence in front makes it feel private. Plus a fully fenced back yard which is perfect for our dogs. Kitchen was stocked well. It could use a couple of items. It was a very nice relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a place with a beach off of the back yard this is it.

Exactly what we needed! Beautiful view of the Umpqua River and fall colors. The dome was so cozy and we really enjoyed having the wood stove. Hosts were kind and attentive. Looking forward to staying here again.

Had a great week stay! Very clean and had all the things I needed during my stay! I loved how close it was to the beach, and hilltop cafe was a great lunch spot just a quick walk. Definitely plan to stay again!

The house was perfect! The large windows gave unobstructed ocean views, the beds were very comfortable. It was warm and comfortable on a chilly, heavily misty weekend. It was fully stocked with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Thank you for a warm, cozy , comfortable stay! I will definitely recommend to others!

We had a great time for a short weekend get away. close to the beach, there is a little mart and bar just around the corner(walking distance)

The house was welcoming from the very first moment we got there. Everything was placed in a perfect way and labeled. Never had to look very hard for anything. The house was super well stocked and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It was a wonderful location, amazing to just literally step right off the deck and be on the beach. When down on the beach it was very quiet and never busy. Felt like we had our own beach most of the time. Debbie was a wonderful host and always there if we had a question. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

This home was very well stocked and fit 2 families very comfortably. The beach is just a step away and the back deck has great sunset views. Fantastic location!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

My family stays on the Oregon coast each summer. It has been a 30 year tradition that our children, now adults, still look forward to. This home offered us everything we needed to feel relaxed during this family tradition. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was probably the best house we have stayed in to date!

Was a lovely place to stay. The house was super clean and neat. It looked like the carpet had just been shampooed. Was perfect for a romantic weekend, but also kid friendly with games, children's book and sand toys available. The only thing that concerned me, was trying not to track water and sand into the house as it was pretty rainy during our stay.

This Airbnb is a true gem! Linda and Steve were the kindest, most gracious and welcoming hosts we've ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like long-lost friends. They were responsive and attentive, yet never intrusive. We also loved hearing their stories and life experiences! We appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the snacks and drinks they provided. The beautiful Airbnb is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, and was clean, spacious, and tastefully designed. The modern bathroom is spacious with a gorgeous shower. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for our needs. We loved the scenic 10-minute walk along the river to the beach and town! The location was ideal—close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, yet quiet at night. We highly recommend this Airbnb and these amazing hosts. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Yachats!

We had a wonderful stay at the Starlight! Nikki’s instructions were perfect. It was easy to find and enter. The location was secluded and very comfortable. The view of the ocean was amazing and accessible to the beach was very easy. We enjoyed sunshine and storms and felt safe and cozy the whole time. It also had a perfect little yard for our dog. The overall stay at the Starlight was excellent!

My family and I had a great time here. The view from the master bedroom with deck to walk out to was wonderful. I loved the media room with surround sound and a wide selection of dvds. We enjoyed the aquarium which was only a mile away. Richard did a nice job communicating and hosting. We would return.

My boyfriend and I had a comfortable stay at Nichole’s cozy studio in Yachats. The studio’s location is in convenient proximity to highway 101 and was in walking distance to the beach as well as some good coffee shops and restaurants in town.

Beautiful place, one of the nicest places I have stayed at on the Oregon Coast. We don’t normally stay at an Airbnb more than once but this place was one that we’d love to visit and have family get together every year! They had all the cooking utensils we needed which a lot of places that we stay at don’t have big enough pans for us to cook for a big family so it was refreshing to not have to run out and buy kitchenware.

This is our second stay at this location. We love the peaceful setting and location being a close drive to places in Newport. The view is absolutely gorgeous.

Susans home was the perfect place for us. Both the bottom and top balconies had clear views of the ocean. there is a telescope 🔭 to look at the beach and stars! 2 floors with and bathroom on each floor. Huge kitchen. The space was almost like having 2 separate apartments. We would love to come back in the future again!

We had a relaxing stay looking across the dunes to the ocean. It was beautiful and the house is excellently maintained. In fact, everything seemed new, from the kitchen to an abundance of soft bath towels. Beach access over a dune is right outside or there is flatter access a few houses down. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking in. Heceta Beach is enough north of Florence to feel like a beach community but close enough to have relatively close driving access to several markets and restaurants. One of the best maintained short term rentals we’ve stayed in (and we have stayed in many).

This cottage in the woods is perfect coastal getaway. The setting is inviting and eclectic. You really must see in person to appreciate the care and detail taken to create a perfect place to stay. When you do decide to go to the beach. It is quite literally a minute walk from the front door. My wife and I look forward to a return stay and Paul was a wonderful host.
