We stayed at Rascal’s Flat for four days to celebrate our birthdays, just my wife and I. However it is equipped for people with dogs and children. Make sure your first time at the property is during the day! The road up is not that long but twisty and narrow. We absolutely loved it and had a wonderful stay! Would go back again!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the lodge for our one year wedding anniversary. It is located on the same property as their vineyard which makes for a beautiful, serene view and setup. During our stay, we did a very personal wine tasting with David in the main house. It truly is a cool experience and unlike any other wine tasting I have done before, not to mention the wine was very good! The lodge itself is cozy and relaxing with a private back patio looking into the trees and nature. I wasn’t so sure about the outdoor shower at first but it was actually really nice! Water warmed up really fast and the view is amazing. The bed is located upstairs which was very comfortable and cozy with plenty of pillows and blankets. If you have trouble with mobility, the stairs leading to the bedroom are not easy to navigate and there are more stairs from the parking lot to the lodge with some uneven ground at times. If you are fine with stairs and some walking, it is well worth it!

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. We had a fabulous time!

This was a perfect spot for a personal retreat. I loved everything from the decor to the comfy bed to the private hot tub and well tended garden. I would love to come back again.

Super cute little spot. Walking distance to Sonoma Plaza and it had a private hot tub. Good distance from some vineyards and wineries as well!

This home is absolutely beautiful! The outside is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor patio and hot tub are amazing! The location is also fabulous. We went to the Bothe-Napa state park and the Castello di Amorosa both of which were only 15min away as is downtown Calistoga which is really cute. We really enjoyed our stay!! The only slightly problematic feature is the toilet, it doesn’t really work.

I’ve done A LOT of traveling and have stayed in many Airbnbs, but Mama K’s is by far my most favorite! The house is lovely and has more than the amenities anyone would need and, I’ve never stayed in a more CLEAN Airbnb before— all the tiny details have not been overlooked! This was my second time enjoying the space & I did not want to leave. It’s one of the most beautiful, spotless (and I am very detail oriented!) and peaceful places I’ve spent time. The grounds are absolutely beyond beautiful— from the lush yard to the incredible access to the Russian River out the back door to the outdoor shower and private clawfoot tub, the hot tub on the deck to the whimsical gardens, use of river toys (canoes & kayaks) and more! I had tears in my eyes when it was time to leave! I cannot say enough about this truly one of a kind and magical place. Thank you Karen for the opportunity to enjoy a true slice of heaven!

Our family of three had a wonderful time at Riverwood! We appreciated the thoughtful touches -tea kettle, garlic press, as well as books and guides to local history, flora and fauna. The home was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were enchanting! Buttercups bloomed along the path to the river, and the redwood trees towered overhead. The back porch offered a gorgeous view and vantage point to enjoy the birds and wildlife! Don't forget your binoculars! While it was foggy during our springtime stay, the hot tub, claw foot bathtub and fireplace kept us cozy. Town, river beaches, Armstrong Redwoods state park and Jenner by the Sea are all easily accessible from the property's location. Riverwood was a very peaceful and beautiful place to be! Sangeeta was a communicative and attentive host. We had a seamless stay, and no problem finding the property. Communication and directions were all very clear and detailed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a great experience at Caroline and Tim’s place! Walkable to Santa Rosa’s downtown area with lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars! Will keep this place in mind for a return visit to the area!

The first thing you notice is the waves from all directions. You immediately feel at peace. All the amenities were easy to locate and good quality, including great pots and pans, knives dishes and gadgets for cooking. There were extra linens and towels, it was comfy upstairs and down. It was well laid out and you look out at Point Reyes and Tomales Bay while lying in bed upstairs. The stairs were quite steep but there was a nice bedroom downstairs as well. I enjoyed the heated ceramic floor in the downstairs bathroom and there was good water pressure. We loved the wide wraparound deck and dock, as well as outdoor tables and a garden. The beds and sofas were all very good quality and comfortable and it was nice to have the fireplace. The dog had room to sniff and roam safely at will as the decks and garden were well enclosed. Hog Island is one minute away, Tony’s five minutes away for the chowder, and truly awesome pizza at Route One on the way to the dog beach at Dillon. Thanks!

Joshua’s place was perfect. The home was beautiful and the surrounding area was great. The home is set back on a quiet street, which made enjoying the home so relaxing. I brought my two dogs who enjoyed sunbathing on the wrap around patio/deck and running around the yard. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again!!

Creekside Cottage is a thoughtful and well furnished home. It also has a great yard for relaxing, play space for our dogs and small granddaughter. Perfect and loved the location in the redwoods yet with sun and running water. The drive to town was gorgeous! Thank you Jane and Hank

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and cozy spot! It looked just like the photos, and the description was very accurate. While it's not a new or modern house, it has a warm, older charm that felt both comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances you’d expect in a home, which made cooking easy and convenient. We were pleasantly surprised by how much open living space there was—more than we expected from the photos. Even though it's close to neighbors, the area feels surprisingly secluded and private—perfect for a relaxing weekend. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub at night and listening to records from the huge and awesome collection, while enjoying the warmth of the wood stove. Adam was very helpful and responsive, always ready to answer our questions and offer local tips. This place was perfect for my boyfriend and me—it made for a memorable weekend getaway

Perfect little studio in a beautiful neighborhood! We didn’t have a car during our stay and had no problems walking or taking the bus to nearby wineries and restaurants.

This is a very relaxing getaway. The outdoor spaces are the star. The pool is deep and refreshing but not too cold. The hot tub is pristine and had a wonderful view of the trees and creek, so great to unwind in. The outdoor shower has multiple modes and good hot water. Unlike other places we’ve stayed there are outdoor towel hooks which is something many places don’t bother to include. Lovely creek views, nice landscaping, and soothing water sounds. Great deck with outdoor table, chairs, umbrella, grill. Really enjoyed being here. The cottage itself is charming and the kitchen well stocked. The bathroom was the one minor disappointment in an otherwise lovely property, it was clean but dated. The fireplace is wonderful to curl up in front of and read and the view of stars at night was wonderful. Dream Sonoma left snacks and wine which made for a great movie night. Well located to Sonoma restaurants and attractions. Overall a very nice place to spend a weekend!

Steven & Suping went above and beyond to accommodate my stay in their cottage; from my request to have the large king sized bed moved to be up against the wall so my 1 year old son could safely sleep in the bed with me to even providing a highchair to my surprise! Along with covering all of the exposed outlets and securing the kitchen cupboards so my little one wouldn't get into them. This kind of attention to detail is what makes these hosts stand out above others. I truly felt welcomed and as if it was a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this cottage and these hosts, and I will look into staying here again on our next trip to the area.

What a fantastic place! My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend and couldn't have been happier. The cabin is cute, cosy, lovely and very functional. It has beautiful old world charm with modern amenities like nest heating. The deck is large and was wonderful sitting by the firepit at night. The view of the river and the redwoods was captivating. The neighbourhood is quiet and lovely to walk around. Everything we needed was there and Amber was a delight to deal with and very communicative. We want to come back in summer time and think we found our favourite Russian River hideaway.

This is nice hidden gem right by Russian River! Beautiful, semi-private space with a hot tub and fireplace that warms up the home to make it very cozy. Space was very clean and the host was responsive and helpful when I needed some direction on how to get to the airbnb. Cute little walk around town. If you're looking for more to do it is close to Guerneville and the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is close by. Highly recommend!

Edrene’s place is even more beautiful and quaint in person! Great views in the backyard, nice and quiet neighborhood, but only 10min drive from downtown.
