This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.

Our stay at Endsleigh Cottage was wonderful; it had everything we needed and was situated on gorgeous grounds with a genuine old world charm.

This property suited our needs. it was a very cold May weekend but between the heat pump and fireplace (with plenty of firewood), we were very cosy. Kitchen/dining was a good size and had what we needed to provide our own meals. Recommend.

We were looking for a home with lots of space for a family and a dog and Karina’s house was the perfect spot as we were able to book the cabin room so that we could have space and quiet for a young baby. The space is large and flexible for a family and the garden is a beautiful place to relax. Karina was a great host: friendly and helpful when we needed anything and she even baked us a welcome cake :)

Immaculate property that was cosy and restful. The house cat is absolutely gorgeous. Really fantastic to have a fire and firewood to make the cooler nights warm and relaxed. Thanks for having us for a very special family holiday.

Julie was so friendly and communicative, she made us feel right at home. So did Archie and Stevey the dogs, who we loved! The villa was larger than I expected and was perfectly set up for us. The location is ideal, close to the waterfront, wineries and cafes, and not too far from Havelock North for more restaurants, cafes and shops. Would recommend and would definitely stay again 😊 Thank you Julie for having us

We had such a lovely time at the property, thank you. Plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors - nicely decorated and homely. Fantastic heated swimming pool! The kitchen was really well equipped - the coffee machine was excellent. Also really appreciated the aircon on a hot day. Would love to come and stay again sometime, thank you.

This venue was exactly what we were after. It is rustic, and cozy, and it was what we were expecting. It is dog friendly, which was great because we took our German shepherd. The bathroom is spacious and well set up. We kept our luggage there as well. The kitchenette had everything we needed: jug, microwave, electric frying pan, and outside at the wine bar a weber BBQ and an air fryer. Pete was fantastic and stocked the fridge with bacon, eggs, bread and butter, and a bottle of wine. It was incredibly thoughtful and generous of him, and we were delighted to make bacon and egg butties one cold morning! Pete also left a bag of dog treats which our girl would've devoured except she has a tightly controlled diet due to allergies. Again though, so incredibly thoughtful! Pete had also set up the brazier ready for a fire, with plenty of wood. We had two lovely evenings outside by the fire! Pete is a kind and thoughtful host, and so helpful! Would highly recommend.

Nick and Judy’s place was the perfect spot for us to spend a few days whilst visiting family in the area. Private, with beautiful surroundings and lots of sunlight, it was an easy place to relax and also get some work done when needed. Great location, an easy walk along the river into Havelock North and a close drive to Hastings and Te Mata peak. The kitchen had all the essentials, including fresh bread, eggs and jams which was such a nice touch. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Maxine's place is exactly as described....what a beautiful peaceful setting, Maxine was very helpful, too. Would recommend staying here....within a long stone's throw of the walking tracks on Te Mata peak and such clear night skies as well. Straight back down the hill and within a couple of minutes you are right in the middle of Havelock North. Happy to stay there again. Cheers George

This ia a unique place with the conversion of a shearer's quarters. The external access to each room was authentic to its past. The location was private in being on a farm up in the hills but still close enough to the coast or towns if desired. Communication was great and Hannah was flexible to our change of numbers and arrival date. Margot greeted us warmly and then left us to ourselves - perfect.

Thanks we loved our stay. Perfect little place, one of the few that was dog friendly. Loved the cheese, milk and locally produced yoghurt! Nice touch. Quiet feel and couple of kms to nice coffee.

This place is located about 8-10 mins away from downtown Napier and honestly, is worth it! There’s a bunch of cute shops and restaurants within minutes that may otherwise get overlooked. Highly recommend getting a booking for Thai Chef's Restaurant, just around the corner.

Perfect cottage in a beautiful very private setting. Would thoroughly recommend and have already decided to book again when we head East again.

Such a lovely and artistic place! The interior felt really thoughtfully designed — super cozy with a creative vibe. We stayed here with my dog, and it couldn’t have been more pet-friendly. There was even a food bowl and some treats waiting for him, which was such a sweet touch! We both felt right at home. Bonus: we could see some cute little sheep just outside the door! The whole area and the city itself are really dog-friendly too. Would totally recommend this spot to any pet owner — or honestly anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed place to stay.

Our stay was perfect. We were delighted to be able to stay at short notice for 2 nights after our booked accommodation wasn’t up to standard when we arrived in Taupo. The communication was great. The house was as described, spotless and fully equipped kitchen. Short walk down to the lake. Thank you we would stay again

There was clear and perfect instructions from beginning to end. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful Airbnb. We would love to stay again some time in the future & we will recommend family and friends to stay. We sat outside at night on the bean bags and stargazed while listening to nature and by day we sat outside on the patio with our hot chocolates and looked around at the beautifullness of Waimarama/Ocean Beach. Perfect stay 10/10 overall ❤️

These hosts were great with excellent communication. Place is attached to the main house but still feels very private. Very close to the beach and easy drive to town, so location was perfect. only thing is it is close to the main highway, although there was very little traffic at night time, so it didn't disturb us at all. works easily stay again. Fresh fruit, 🥑 and beer in the fridge was a nice touch

We had a beautiful stay at Jan's place. Felt right at home and I was so happy I could bring my dog with me and she loved the place too. Very cosy, private and peaceful. Lovely touch of having some food and drinks provided for us. Thank you for opening your home to us Jan and we really enjoyed our stay :)
