Lovely location on the lake. You do get people walking by, on public path in front of the house, but really was not a bother to us. It was never intrusive in any way, instead relaxing to watch from the deck area or tucked away in lounge room. Plenty of room in the house. Very neat and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for utensils. BYO milk, butter, coffee beans but supermarket a just a 7 min drive, so easy to get these items or anything else you may want. There was tea bags and instant coffee, olive oil. We found it to be a very relaxing place with beautiful views/sunsets.

one of my all time favourite holiday stays in the north island, loved sharing it with friends this time. Simple in the best possible old school kiwi bach sense, but with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Wonderfully remote to get away from it all, beautiful scenery and fantastic outdoor space to relax in any weather.

Kerri’s place is just superb. It had absolutely everything we could have needed, in the most stunning location. It was top notch :)

We loved our stay here, lots of space and had everything we needed. Trudie was great at answering any queries and instructions were easy to follow. A great little spot on a quiet street and super close to the beach and the shop. Will definitely be returning!

The Cowmans Cottage was perfect for our stay, very comfortable, clean and the surroundings were so private and peaceful. Check in was easy and communication with the host was excellent. This charming cottage is beautifully presented and well equipped. You will be pleased you stayed at this delightful property!

Rhian's place was perfect for our stay, close to the shuttle to RnV for the kids and close to the beach for me. Great house, great location and great host!!

As local from the Wairoa district it was a excellent get away from everything. Location was on. Walk away to the beach. Nice quiet area. Enjoyed sitting on the deck on the shade enjoying the beautiful weather that we had. 10/10 that’s all I needed

Pete's house is in a nice area of Gisborne. It has a well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, and the house is even more spacious than the photos made it look.
