Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

I love it. it was amazing week. ocean in 3 min. kite point in 20 min. restaurants and markets. Extra clean room. So quiet area. we will be back for sure.

Wes and Rhonda's Airbnb was a wonderful retreat tucked away in a local neighborhood. We try to make an annual trip to the area in this was our favorite place to stay of our all trips to Hatteras Island. The unit has a lovely bedroom and kitchenette, decorated with Rhonda's original artwork. There is a washer and dryer and a spacious bathroom, which is just what we needed after a long day at the beach. The porch looks out onto a oak tree with gorgeous Spanish moss hanging from the branches. We even got a few visits from our hosts adorable cats! Wes was very friendly and commutative, he proactively texted to check in and provide instructions. If you stay at this lovely spot, we highly recommend stopping by Red Drum Pottery to grab some of Rhonda's pottery and artwork to bring some memories back home with you!

This airbnb on the sound in the Outer Banks was a perfect peaceful retreat. Stunning sunsets, easy access to Avon and Hatteras, and opportunities for windsurfing made our stay unforgettable. The high-quality, professionally cleaned linens and cozy decor added a touch of luxury. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The arrival was perfect, and communication was very easy with the landlord. The beds are super comfortable as well as the pillows . everything was very clean I recommend this place

Stay at Bonnie’s was fantastic! Everything was set. She was also super friendly. If you’re looking for a place for a short trip to OBX, I recommend staying at Bonnie’s. If you’re lucky, you may even come across Rowan the Doggo 😄

A great place to stay and relax. Just what we were looking for. The place was great for a couple. Wendy was always available to answer any questions and recommend good places to go to eat or the best beach. If in the area we would stay again.

Christine was amazing, she was quick to respond to questions and was always polite. the condo was just as described. We had a great stay and would stay there again!

Heba’s place is an excellent listing with a great location on Hwy 12 in Frisco. It offers just about every amenity needed for a Hatteras Island visit. Even though my wife and I visited in the winter, we still felt there was much to do outside during our visit. The kitchen was great. The bathroom was clean with a solid shower. The bed was very comfy for those who like a more firm bed. I loved the electric heater in the living room and the TVs in both the living room and the bedroom were a bonus. Ample amounts of parking available and quite private, even though you are a few feet away from other dwellings. There is a great restaurant across the street within walking distance and a gas station only a minute away. 10 minute drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or the Hatteras Ferry and less than 5 minute drive to Frisco Beach. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if this listing is available in the future.

This was a great stay for a peaceful weekend! The view of the sound is incredible with beautiful sunsets, the house had everything we needed, the owners were very responsive, and it was within walking distance to both the sound and the beach while also being close to some great restaurants. Exceeded my expectations!

Lucy is always a wonderful host. Her place is our home away from home. Looking forward to the next stay.

Loved Rory's place. Great for just me and my dog. Quiet, tucked into a private corner of a nice neighborhood steps to the beach and close to restaurants, shops, etc! Has everything you need for a short stay and cannot be beat for the price! Also enjoyed meeting the neighborhood deer!

We were very pleased with Watermens retreat, the house was very nice and was exactly as described.

This is such a beautiful spot with welcoming helpful hosts. This was our second time staying there and we are looking forward to coming back.
