we had to get together for a late Thanksgiving early Christmas out of town family and this was the perfect home to host that! Everything was well laid out, there was activities from our youngest to the oldest, we had great weather, so was able to sit in the backyard with a fire a few nights. We spent a lot of time cooking as a family, and the kitchen was perfect for that. I highly recommend Brickside Beds and will be telling family about it in the future!

We had another great stay at The Bunkhouse! There are so many unique facets to this place. The outdoor area is very inviting for sitting and relaxing. The small hike down to the creek through the woods is lovely and we always enjoy observing all the farm animals right out our window. This is a lovely stay for a couple or for a family. Melissa is a VERY good host too!

Laura was a great host! A few friends and I came to Emporia for a disc golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property was within short driving distance to some of the best disc golf in Kansas. And we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evening after a long day of disc. Would definitely stay again.

Nice appliances. Older home, but well kept. One door was too low, my son - in - law kept hitting his head.

Very cozy and peaceful. Nice place to get away. We had business in Osage City and it was a very easy and short drive.

Karla is definitely a super host. She is lovely to work with and her place is darling, clean, fun, beautifully decorated and literally, she doesn't miss a beat. She covers every detail, is super accessible, and willing to help in any way. I have fragrance and chemical sensitivities, and since the space had already been cleaned, she removed candles and offered to open the windows to air the space out before I got there. I love that she uses eco-friendly Earth Breeze laundry sheets for the linens; which by the way, the linens and bed were incredibly soft and slept so comfortably. We had a great stay and I highly recommend her beautiful bungalow.
