Our stay here was nothing short of wonderful. We tried to get out and about because there’s so much to do, but it was so lovely being in this space that it was hard to leave it. The fireplace warms the entire place up and lends such a cozy atmosphere to the cottage. The views are spectacular - to wake up to that is so good for the soul. The host, Justine, was very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this spot! Just note that the road is pretty bad, so I wouldn’t recommend doing this without some sort of SUV or utility vehicle. Also, we arrived at night and drove right past it in the mist and rain, so either arrive before night sets in, or make sure you get very accurate directions (from leaving the main road).

Had a great stay... Needed the place for comrades weekend at a pretty late stage and this was an amazing place. There is a gravel road to the farm, but it's well maintained. Would highly recommend if you're a big group.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful log cabin - it felt like paradise on earth. The fact that this property is pet friendly was perfect! Our dogs had the time of their lives and so did we. The fire place and extra blankets were a lifesaver and we were even treated to some snow on the mountain tops. We had so much fun! Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back! 🐶❄️🔥

We enjoyed our weekend stay, it was beautiful and peaceful. We even got to feed a few sheep on the farm and felt so relaxed when heading home.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer and enjoyed the activities that Debs recommended.

My friends and I had an awesome time at this place. It’s such a cool spot with great views. We had a good time sitting around the fire, using the donkey boiler, walking around the area, and going into nearby Underberg.

Tranquility at its best. A great escape. Private space. Cosy, intimate and intouch with nature. Beautiful views. Very friendly host who answers to all questions with helpful instructions. Highly recommended

Spacious house. Clearly used by the family that owns it in a good way, as it has all the amenities and useful items for living. It was great value for money for our 8 night stay

Beautiful place! The entire stay was great. The hosts and the couple that manage the Lodge were all so helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the dam is infested with alien grass so it’s impossible to fish but the cabin was full of board games and the location is close to other attractions and restaurants so we were happy! Definitely need to visit again.
