My friends and I had a great weekend away. The cottage had everything we needed and the hot tub was a great touch!

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

Our family had a great stay! Cottage was across from ski Wentworth and had everything we needed. Relaxing vibe, clean, and cozy with the fire going. Wifi worked great, kids loved the hot tub and beds were comfy! Davis was a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. Thanks Davis - will be coming back next year!

Mark's place was lovely! I and a group of 7 adults came here for a getaway. The pellet stove was super nice and easy to use and the hot tub was just as relaxing. Overall we didn't have any issue with the hot tub only fitting 6 as usually we didn't all want to use it at once anyways. Some of us found that the beds were even more comfortable than our beds back home and the place felt well put together. Surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and private with lots of outdoor seating. We also made use of the outdoor games that were available! The kitchen had everything we needed.Mark was also a fantastic host and responded to us within 10 minutes when we had any questions. Overall would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Clean cottage with all the amenities. Great getaway right on the ocean. Will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Joseph’s place, it is in a beautiful location but still nice and close to the city. Everything was very clean and all the amenities you may need during your stay were provided. Highly recommend.

Lovely cottage right in the water! Fit 8 of us very well didn’t feel crowded, having two bathrooms was great. The water is the only slight inconvenience (tap water likely safe to drink but not tested) so we opted to bring our own water just to be safe. Great hot tub and fire pit. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway this is your spot!! Ainsley was very responsive host. We all love it and would stay again!

My girlfriends and I loved Kim's place. I had been there about 3 years ago. Another friend of mine booked the spot the year my son passed away and it was the perfect spot to get away for a couple of days. We're going to try and get back there again. It is definitely a perfect spot to forget about day to day life.

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

Very relaxing and quiet place. It poured rain the second night we were there so we enjoyed the games room! It was a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. Tranquility Cove is precisely that, a tranquil spot perched on the edge of the ocean. As a host Bonnie was wonderfully responsive and very gracious. The cottage itself was well appointed with comfortable beds (an essential). Despite the fact that we were there for the coldest and iciest days of February, we were still able to on a series of hikes, so to that end the cottage is perfectly located for people who like to explore the more southernly part of Nova Scotia's gorgeous South Shore. We felt at home and at peace immediately, that sense of comfort permeated our entire stay. I strongly recommend Tranquility Cove as an ideal location for a quiet getaway.

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

This was our second stay and we’ve already decided this is the place we want to go next year for our annual gathering. Beautiful views of the lake, fully stocked cottage, friendly hosts.

I had booked this to have a girls sleepover for my 29th birthday. It was such a perfect location to get out of the city but close enough for just a one night stay! It was probably the coziest airbnb I have ever stayed in! A true cottage feel! Having grown up using wood stoves, it was a great add on to be able to use the one there, and then to have a bonfire as well! The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of extra blankets, everything we needed in the kitchen, and super clear instructions! We have all agreed that we would love to come back for a weekend trip again in the summer- and all discussed how we would love to bring our families here, safe to say it was a great experience and great location!

Stones Throw Cottage is our favourite spot on the LaHave River. We continue to go back because of the location, private setting in a nice little cove , but also because of how well the cottage is set up and now to make it even better, it has a heat pump! Views of the river right from the deck and dining table are beautiful with wildlife sightings daily!! Joe the host is excellent and responds quickly, and is a great person.

Probably the best place we have ever been to! Highly recommended!

We had a brief stay at the cottage which was everything we thought it would be.We had an amazing time and would diffinitly do it again.The only downfall is we only booked a one night stay ,next time we will book for the whole weekend and enjoy more of the sights.

We stayed here and it was a lovely cozy cottage with beautiful view and sunrises. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and extra bed lines for the colder night. Beach was nice but 100% bring your water shoes. Lots of thing to do around the cottage on rainy days. We got a lovely email from the host with all kinds of ideas and places to go in town. We the perfect end to our summer

We honestly couldn't believe how beautiful and pristine the property was, the picture's don't do it justice! We ended up arriving later on in the evening, so seeing the water and views in the morning was breaking! The place was so cozy, and had absolutely everything you would need. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone, with a few of us already dreaming of another getaway here!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!

Mark & Rachel’s place is a gem! This is our 2nd trip to Sunnybank Jr and we are already trying to figure out our plans to stay again next year. Our only regret this year was the shorter stay - we should have made it for 3 nights (or more)! But we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights here. The upgrades since last year are a wonderful addition. Our family feels right at home here. The beds are cozy, there’s lots of seating in the kitchen, living room, and newly added sun room, it has everything we need to cook a nice family dinner. You can’t beat the views or the proximity to the ocean. A hop, skip and a jump down the stairs, you are on the ocean floor (or in the water, depending on the tide :)). Mark & Rachel are wonderful hosts. Thanks for another great stay!
