We had the best time! The hot tub was so much fun, and we’re super excited to come back for another awesome stay!

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

It was a pleasant stay, had so much fun everything was well maintained and clean. The highlight was the hot tub, and the complimentary coffee was a cherry on top.

Jason was an awesome and super responsive host. The house was super clean and it was in a nice quiet area while still only being a short car ride from night life. Would highly recommend!

Sara’s listing was very lovely and had a very homey feel with lots of traditional furniture and tons of natural light. Each bedroom has its own vibe. There’s a narrow staircase that leads up to the living space which might be troublesome for some older folk but other than that I love everything else. We didn’t need to use the stove or any appliances but there’s was basically everyone you would need, plus there were some chickens running around the backyard which was fun. Would stay here again. Not too far from downtown.

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

We had a great time and it was so easy to get to the arena and back. Our dogs were very comfortable and slept the whole time! Thank you so much

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

This house is a beautiful place to gather a group of people. The setting was gorgeous. We fell asleep to the spring peepers and awoke to the sandhill cranes. The house was gorgeous with fun nooks for all to inhabit. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The kitchen was well appointed. We would stay here again!

This is the second of Jennifer’s listings we’ve stayed at and it was just as cozy and clean as the first! Jennifer is a very responsive and friendly host, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to settle into. Would happily stay again.

Our wonderful BnB stay was the second apartment we've booked that these two manage - wonderful to experience their intentional hosting skills again. This apartment within the same complex was a one bedroom (the former we stayed had two) with just enough decorating to feel cozy without clutter getting in the way. Sufficient and well-organized/laid out space. We found everything we needed for our stay and had room to bring in groceries and host a few people after our son's Masters Recital at MSU. The photo of the small patio off the bedroom is accurate - patio is lovely for two to sip coffee. There's a peaceful view of the river along with another common sitting area a few steps away. The outside spaces were truly enjoyable. Location is terrific, minutes drive to MSU campus (probably walkable) and walking distance to The Morning Post, our favorite breakfast spot. Just down the road is Trader Joes and Whole Foods. We will actively seek BnB spaces hosted by Justin and Kristina.

This is a warm, comfortable space right across the street from the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. It's near grocery stores, restaurants, and the U of Michigan. It is a warm, friendly space.

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.

My family needed a larger place to stay over the holidays and we required a decent kitchen because we like to cook meals all together. This property met our expectations for every meal we had planned. The beds were clean and the rooms were all sufficiently sized for our needs. The additional amenity of having the indoor pool during the winter was great for all the kids to have an activity to do that they enjoy. This house has clearly served multiple generations of families and it made a nice touch for my family holiday. The host was available to message the entire stay and it didn’t feel like a problem if we needed anything or for questions. The secluded location was wonderful to wake up to but a little tricky to find in the dark for the first time check-in. All in all a very positive experience staying at this property.
