Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. We invite you to our new cabin in peaceful Boutiliers Point - an ideal spot for an out-of-city vacation and outdoor activities. It is located just 30 minutes from downtown Halifax. We are minutes from the ocean, where you can find a beautiful small beach and a wharf to fish off the pier. The cabin has a full pull-out sofa, a smart TV, WI-FI, heating and AC, a kitchenette, and a stall shower. The cabin can accommodate one traveler or a couple. A mattress can also be provided for a child.

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! I now have a dock at the lake for swimming or tanning and a canoe is available for use as well. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
