Great small touches lovely fresh eggs, bread, butter, wine and even supplied some baby food for our grandson. Very friendly and thoughtful, responsive to requests. We also met Luke who kindly lit us a fire in the evenings. Lovely Airbnb comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend.

Another lovely stay at the lodge, with multi generational family having downstairs bedroom/ bathroom making this accessible. Enjoyed evening hot tubs and card games in the conservatory. Nice day out to Llangollen and shopping in Shrewsbury. Thanks

Our weekend away was great, 100% would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful time away. Jane was a lovely and wonderful host with experience behind her belt which shows through when giving the tour of the house and grounds. She handled everything that we needed with efficiency. The house was beautiful, the scenery was lovely, it was very peaceful and we will be definitely be booking it again down the line.

Coals view was everything and so much more than we had expected It to be. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was an added bonus that we definitely took advantage of. We would recommend coals view to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay.

Sarah was very quick at responding to any enquiries I had and was always on Hand to give very helpful information regarding our stay. The location is very remote and absolutely beautiful, I would definitely recommend using the what3words app as this took me right to the doortstep, it may have been difficult to find using a standard satnav but totally worth it for the peace and the views!! The property was pristine and stocked with everything you can think of for your stay excluding food. There was a Asda express nearby so we could top up on essentials and the nearest town was less than 10 minutes away however we didn’t stay long enough to check this out, the house comes with a whole pinboard of leaflets giving plenty of options for local things to do. We would definitely return!! Thanks :)

Had an amazing time with friends in the hot tub after dark! Music, good conversation, and the bubbles made it feel like a private spa party. The night air kept things cool while the water stayed perfectly warm. We laughed for hours and completely lost track of time. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Stunning place looked just like the pictures and more. We loved how secluded the air bnb was and had complete privacy yet still felt safe and within reach. The hot tub was a highlight for my two children and it stayed warm for hours. I would recommend to family and friends ideal for a couples retreat and those with young children.

Karl was a great host and responded very quickly. He was waiting to meet us when we arrived, very welcoming and showed us around and how everything worked. House was great and surprisingly big, much more spacious than the pictures do it justice! Had everything inside that we needed and was very quiet and private. Garden is secure unless, like my dog, they're keen to jump fences!! Beds were super comfy and we got a great night sleep every night. Loads of walking nearby and a great base to explore the Elan Valley and local town, both of which are lovely. Thank you very much, we were sad to leave as we had a great time!

A beautiful, clean and spacious property just as described! We didn’t get a chance to explore the local area but visited Snowdon, Conwy and Llangollen, all within one hour and 15 mins drive. We had dinner one night at the Kings Head (5 min drive away) and the staff were really friendly and amenable. Tim, the host is very helpful and responsive!

We had a fantastic stay! The property is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us-our dog loved pottering around the secure garden, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was safe. The views from every window are absolutely stunning, and the whole place was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. Emma is an amazing host. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Location was perfect for exploring Ludlow and all of its history and eateries. Close to market square; the castle and was still quiet and peaceful. We forgot our toiletries but fortunately the property is close to all the shops so that was no bother at all. The house itself was the perfect space, especially the enclosed garden for our two dogs. We really appreciated the old fashioned character of the property and would love to come back to Ludlow and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Domenica’s house. Such beautiful surroundings with walks from the house and stunning views. Lovely woods to walk in up behind the house. The garden was very useable with easy places to sit and enjoy the peace and birdsong on a sunny Easter Sunday after an egg hunt… The house was calm, comfortable and welcoming, thoughtfully kitted-out. Our 9 year old son particularly enjoyed the upstairs drawing desk and the shape of the stairs landing! We had no reason to call upon Domenica during our stay, but she was helpful and accommodating in the run up and we had all we needed in the house. Thank you so much Domenica - we’d happily come again!

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

I had a fantastic stay! The surroundings were absolutely lovely—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly proactive and accommodating, always on hand to help and ensure everything was just right. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was well equipped. Great location with lots to do. Enjoyed a good curry at Village Spice in Corwen and walks around Llangollen.

It was our second stay here and we loved as much as the first time we fell in love with it. Amazing location for sunrise and sunset and the donkeys and giddy goats are always good companyv

What a great find! The cottage was charming and immaculately clean. It's in a beautiful area of the country and couldn't be in a quieter location. We definitely aim to visit again.

Snail Beach cottage is a magical place tucked away in Shrophire which is part of the joy. The cottage & surroundings is full of things to discover. It was spotless & generously equipped with everything you could need or want. We particularly loved the curated art, the collections of objects & colours that sung the story of the owners & the area beautifully. Genevieve & Allan were very kind with leaving cereals, a selection of teas, good coffee, local milk, butter, bread & cake, jam & marmalade to try. We also absolutely loved the shampoo, conditioner & wash - all our favourite things!! We really appreciated the ecofriendly nature of the place & all the products used. Thr selection of books & music is a wonderful addition. The information & maps about the places around is so helpful as this a new area to us and there is so much to explore. We really enjoyed the peace, nature, birdsong and feeling of this place which we felt as soon as we arrived. In short the best Air BnB ever!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Pennys cottage. Fantastic views , lovely cosy cottage , peaceful and relaxed long weekend. Everything we needed and highly recommended. Will definitely return.

We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. John and Paul have put a lot of thought and care into restoring the cottage and we especially enjoyed looking at the before and after photos! Amazing accommodation and fantastic hiking and exploring in the local area. Definitely recommended!

Staying at Susan’s magical vineyard cottage was an absolute dream. Tucked away in the stunning Welsh countryside, it felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—surrounded by nature, birdsong, and breathtaking views. Despite its remote location, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. Susan is truly a fantastic host: warm, thoughtful, and always quick to help with anything you might need, without ever intruding on your space. You can tell she’s poured her heart into creating a space that’s both beautiful and comfortable. The cottage itself is full of charm, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a magical escape with a host who genuinely goes above and beyond, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Just back from the most amazing stay - we could have stayed forever! The setting is just absolutely stunning, like something out of a storybook. The cottage and gardens were cute and cosy - EVEN more gorgeous than the photos if that were possible. It was squeaky clean too. (And the bed was so comfy - nothing worse than coming back from a trip more tired than when you arrive!). Mike was a wonderful, warm host, and nothing was too much trouble, including making us some of his famous pizzas as a last minute request. The Elan Valley is out of this world - can’t believe I’d never heard of it before. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!
