The first thing you notice is the waves from all directions. You immediately feel at peace. All the amenities were easy to locate and good quality, including great pots and pans, knives dishes and gadgets for cooking. There were extra linens and towels, it was comfy upstairs and down. It was well laid out and you look out at Point Reyes and Tomales Bay while lying in bed upstairs. The stairs were quite steep but there was a nice bedroom downstairs as well. I enjoyed the heated ceramic floor in the downstairs bathroom and there was good water pressure. We loved the wide wraparound deck and dock, as well as outdoor tables and a garden. The beds and sofas were all very good quality and comfortable and it was nice to have the fireplace. The dog had room to sniff and roam safely at will as the decks and garden were well enclosed. Hog Island is one minute away, Tony’s five minutes away for the chowder, and truly awesome pizza at Route One on the way to the dog beach at Dillon. Thanks!

What a beautiful and relaxing short stay we had at Sea Otter Cottage! From soaking in the soothing hot tub to playing in the charming garden, every moment was delightful. Our 5-year-old loved exploring the lovely surroundings, the toys in the house and we truly felt at home in this cozy, welcoming house. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful space with us—we will cherish the memories made here and hope to return at some point!

Booked last minute- was very pleasantly surprised! Even better than photos! Location was easy to find (drive in late at night) very easy to check in. Very walkable to everything- beach was a few blocks! Great location to get to the middle of town in no time at all. The private patio space with the hot tub was so amazing after a beach day. I will for sure be booking this place again! Also Liza was super helpful and easy to reach if I had any questions. Book here - it’ll exceed expectations!

This was our second stay here. Our daughter's family lives in the neighborhood and this is the perfect location for us to stay while visiting. It is quiet, comfortable and just what we need. The yard is very cute and we love to look at the animals with our grandchildren. We lucked out and saw the planets aligned from the driveway on the 25th, as it is dark enough to view the stars without city lights. Don and Lori are great hosts- there are treats and fresh eggs in the fridge, and everything we needed was right there. We will be back.

Ellen's place is a very nice quiet place to stay and enjoy a cozy day/night. The views outside are great and there are a lot of places to just relax on a cold day. the only inconvenience is the area around the property. To get there can be tricky, especially at night, and when it's rainy. And parking, especially with a large car is very hard especially if you have to reverse your way out, or reverse in, especially with the steep driveway. Other than that the property was perfect, and everything felt right, Ellen is a very nice host.

Overall we had a good stay at Susan’s rental. She was very nice and communicative. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Large refrigerator. Regular drip coffee pot. Very close to downtown Mill Valley so you can walk into town easily. There seemed to be a few other renters on this property, and our rental was the very back unit. The walkway down the length of the front house was a bit tight, with 2 gates. It was farther than we expected to load/unload bags. Just a heads up - Parking was a bit tricky because this property is on the main avenue (Blithedale).

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house by the beach. The location was perfect—just a few houses away from the beach, which made it super convenient for our family. The house itself was spotless when we arrived and had a warm, welcoming feel. It was very family-friendly, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax with kids and our dog. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a laid-back beach getaway, and we’d absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend for families or anyone traveling with pets!

We loved our stay at Gabriel’s cottage! It was perfect for a long weekend with our kiddo. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry room really helped make everything run smoothly for us. Beds were comfy, neighborhood was calm and welcoming, and just a quick walk down to the beach. It was exactly what we needed! We would love to stay again on our next trip down.

This was one of my favorite airbnbs! The host has thought of everything and made the stay feel right at home. Their hospitality was so appreciated and their local recommendations were incredibly thorough and spot on. We really enjoyed peaceful morning coffee in the backyard listening to the small stream running under the deck and birds singing, enjoying the many flavors of tea provided, and cooking meals here. They had everything we needed and then some. I can’t recommend this space enough and very close to all nearby towns and attractions. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at the Bluebird Cottage. The cottage is beautifully maintained and very clean. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful art and collected pieces in each room. Every window had a different view of the trees and foliage surrounding us, creating a serene and private setting. Minie was an amazing host. We received clear instructions, local guides, and amenities that made us feel right at home. Tips for future travelers: -The tandem driveway has a steep rise in the middle, with the potential to scrape the bottom of the car when parking. We parked just below the bump and that was fine. -For cold weather, we found the wall unit by the front door didn’t heat the room much. The wall heaters worked great. For the bedroom wall heater to work the light switch closest to the bedroom closet needs to be turned on.

My stay at the cozy cottage was very pleasant. Everything was clean and ready for my arrival. I was there for over a month and had very few issues. Andy was very responsive with the few concerns I had.

Another lovely stay at Sabine’s unit. I love the kitchen and being able to resume my routines in that space. Likewise, for sleeping. I sleep well there. It is very quiet at night. The air is fresh. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is a family neighborhood with children everywhere! Very safe! I sleep with windows open every night. It is very restful and very quiet. There is no trouble and the community is friendly.

Jenna and Gavin’s place is exactly as described. We appreciated the attention to detail, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful touches, artworks, books, and curated bar cart. Oh, and the bikes! This place is close to everything yet tranquil and quiet! We will be back!

This is a great place to stay in the bay! This reminds me of how are bnb was before it became really corporate. Her space was really charming and there were a lot of extras like food and blankets.

It's absolutely magical space for a peaceful personal retreat. Just amazing surroundings with beautiful views from the house and the yard, park with century-old trees just a few minutes walk away and beautiful walking paths. Something that I really needed for a recovery after a long business trip.

En provided very helpful instructions to unlock and lock the gate. The cottage was private and a good size for two people. Having parking available in the driveway was appreciated!

Really loved this spot and had some amazing weather this weekend. Meg was very responsive and her house was beautiful and well kept. We hope to visit Inverness again some day!

Very cute cottage in Atherton. Worked well for me and my colleague. We were able to park our car onsite. The area is very safe and quiet. You are within a few minutes from Stanford, downtown Palo Alto and Sandhill Road. David was very communicative, texting with specific directions and responding to questions throughout our stay. There were several bugs in the cottage (a few, random ants and a handful of spiders).

Grace's cottage in the Seabright neighborhood is a bright, clean, new space that is a perfect nest for a stay in the area. Isobel, the host, is attentive and extremely communicative with details. I loved the sunny abode, King sized bed with generous linens, warm heat for winter months, books (!), and very clean, new furniture. Thank you both Grace and Isobel for making my stay delightful.
