Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". Linen is included in the cleaning fee, so bedding & towels are excellent quality. Beach towels can be provided on request for an additional charge.
