Great location, close to the golden circle. We were able to see the northern lights right at backyard. The two cats are cute and friendly. Sigmar was very responsive!

Unbelievably beautiful space, sparkling clean, with wonderful art and a hot tub, too. The living room foldout was comfy and had doors that closed for privacy, as good as a third bedroom for us. The street is central but not too busy. We hope to stay here again, highly recommend.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

We had an unforgettable stay at this Airbnb property in Vogar. The house was impeccably clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a full kitchen, comfortable living areas fireplace, washer/dryer, and lovely deck overlooking the water. The location was stunning—remote yet offering breathtaking views of the sunset, black sand beach, mountains and we even saw the northern lights on three of the four nights we stayed. Ólafur the host was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. After long days of exploring Iceland’s natural beauty, relaxing in the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we look forward to returning and recommending this property to friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable Icelandic getaway that is centrally located. 15 minutes from the airport and Blue Lagoon, 35 minutes to Reykjavík, and easily accessible to the highway for road trips. Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

The house was spacious, clean , tidy and we felt at home. All amenities and description were the same as in the advertisement in air B&B. Nice neighbourhood and easy to walk to the supermarket although we had a car. Definitely recommend to others Kjartan was a great host before and during our stay . Iceland is a lovely country.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles, was man braucht, ist da: eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, ein schöner Wohnbereich, geräumige Badezimmer und bequeme Betten. Besonders toll ist der Hot Pot und die Sauna mit tollem Blick auf die Berge und den Fjord. Wir haben uns völlig wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations! Halldor communicated/responded very quickly any time we had a question. The kitchen is state of the art gourmet, all furniture and beds were extremely comfortable and great quality. Very well appointed, modern home with smart features for room darkening for peaceful sleep. Grocery store and the city were convenient. Quiet, upscale neighborhood. We hope to return to Iceland and would want to stay here again. It was perfect for our family.

Wonderful place to stay! This house provided all of the amenities we needed for our family of six of various ages. We had a fantastic trip together to Iceland and the hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions.

What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house boasts a stunning modern design with lots of natural light, and it's located in a peaceful yet convenient area. The garden and pool were highlights, providing a perfect space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Our host, Sigridur, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Gigja was extremely welcoming and helpful in showing us around the house and giving us local recommendations. Her house is an amazing place for kids! We had 3 kids under 5 who loved the trampoline, the 2 enclosed outdoor spaces and playhouse, and the toys and spacious interior. The place is immaculately clean and full of beautiful plants! There is a walking path that goes right by the house and runs along a stream and goes to 2 parks that we frequented. All things in Reykjavik were under 10 minutes by car. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Eugenias beautiful home. From the gorgeous exterior to the perfect layout to the sauna/hottub/cold plunge with the babbling stream running alongside. Magical! The setting was incredibly stunning and was truly one of our favorite views in all of Western Iceland. Close enough to Reykjavik while still feeling a world away. How lucky we felt to call it home each day we returned from exploring. Traveling as a family of five with three young children (9, 7, 6) we were also grateful for the lovely amenities (legos!) that made our time at home extra enjoyable for the kids. Enjoying a coffee each morning with the incredible views of the snow capped mountains was such a treat as was a night of Northern Lights! We've traveled to many Airbnbs across the world and Eugenia tops the list as the most helpful, kind, thoughtful host we've encountered. Being able to stay in her home felt so authentically Iceland and made for the most memorable trip!

This was the best place we have ever stayed as a family. Sigurdurs place is beautiful with the most stunning view. The house is spacious and very warm and cosy. It is absolute heaven, the perfect escape to the countryside with a chance of seeing the northern lights over the lake. I would definitely recommend Sigurdur’s place to everyone. Two adults and one child vacationing in this valley of paradise not far from Reykjavik! The setup was ideal and we all felt right at home. It was so comfortable, warm and we loved the added bonus of the hot tub!! We had a car rental and did our own touring of the southwest including the golden circle of our own. Highly recommend this lovely cabin!!

Wir hatten eine so schöne Zeit in Haukurs Unterkunft. Die Hütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht, sehr gemütlich und traumhaft ruhig gelegen mitten in der Natur. Der Blick auf den See, der Kamin und der Hot Tub waren unser Highlight. Perfekt um so richtig zu entspannen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Such a fabulous cabin in a stunning location. We enjoyed our stay immensely and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The hot tub was a bonus. We used it several times during our four nights stay. The cabin was spotlessly clean had every amenity to make us more than comfortable throughout our stay, the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. Such a wonderful place, we really didn’t want to leave. Make sure you stock up on groceries when you pass a supermarket (as the nearest one open during our stay was a 25 minute drive) and you won’t want for a thing. We forgot to purchase some sugar for our hot drinks, so Matthias, one of the hosts, called round within a couple of hours with a bag of sugar cubes for us. Amazing service! The horses in the adjoining field were a delight to watch and kept my daughter entertained for hours. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We had such a lovely time at Zoei’s garden. One of the coziest places we’ve ever stayed in! The geothermal hot tub was so nice to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need and more. Very family friendly. If we are being honest, Godo (the cat) was our favorite part of our entire stay. He was the sweetest cat we’ve ever met and I think we’d travel all the way back to Iceland just to see him again! ♥️ The house is in the perfect location to travel to Reykjavik or the snæsfellsness peninsula and anywhere inbetween. Zoei was an incredible host - super responsive and always available to answer any questions we had! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us! We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The views were absolutely stunning—like something out of a postcard. The host was super helpful and gave us some great local recommendations, including horseback riding at Laxnes Horse Farm and a visit to Hvammsvík Hot Springs, which was just a 30-minute drive away. We also went snorkeling at the Silfra Fissure, another unforgettable experience not too far from the cabin. The location is very peaceful and secluded, so we’d definitely recommend picking up groceries ahead of time and enjoying meals at the house. The hot tub was a huge highlight—perfect for soaking under the stars! A couple things to note: there isn’t a microwave, which would’ve been a helpful addition, and the hot water had that classic Icelandic sulfur smell, which took some getting used to. Still, this place was an easy 5/5. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Excellent little cabin! It’s really nice to find a well appointed place in Iceland. Perfectly situated across the fjord from Hvammsvik. I’ve been traveling to Iceland for over 20 years, and a lot of places are just so-so. Not this one. Stocked fridge, espresso machine, lots of nice touches. Left me wanting for nothing. Selfishly, I should probably tell you all that it’s a terrible place and keep this one as my little secret, but that wouldn’t be fair to the host, who was most gracious. Excellent place, well done, and I will return.

We had a great stay at this location. It is about 30 min from Reykjavik which was not a problem for us at all. It is located in a super quiet area literally right next to a lake. We are a family of 4, so we used all three bedrooms which as great for us. It is not a large cabin, but we spent so little time at the cabin that it did not bother us at all. We used the Hot tub in the back yard every day and enjoyed the view over the lake and mountains. It is close to a number of hiking trails and waterfalls, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The host is AMAZING, by far the most responsive host we have ever had, and offered super good information for trips, shopping etc. We ended our trip by watching the Northern Lights right from our back yard patio. I would recommend this to anyone looking for nature, hikes and amazing views.
