Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Thomas’s listening was beautiful. It was a short trip but very peaceful. The family enjoyed the pool, s’more by the fire pit, the game room and the short walks to the lake. The tall trees and view were amazing to wake up to. Definitely great place to stay with family.

Tracie’s place was absolutely spotless, updated, and so peaceful. We would live here full time if we could! We LOVED the fence in yard for our dogs and the screened in back porch. The hot tub & lake were so fun too. We hope to come back to catch a Clemson football game in the fall.

We used this house for a family wedding vacation and it was great!! Very beautiful and very peaceful out on the patios. Perfect for all of us. Would rent this house again.

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

The lake house is beautiful. Very private and peaceful. The house looks even better than the photos. Our children loved the pool. We are already planning to return some time this summer. Thanks Ellen for being a great host.

This lake house is probably the nicest Airbnb my family and I have ever stayed in! The hot tub and pool overlooking the lake was breathtaking! I’ve never seen an Airbnb so stocked with everything we needed from towels to face wash and toothbrushes we didn’t go without anything. The games were our absolute favorite and there were too many activities to count! Some activities include, pool, air hockey, ping pong and basketball! There are so many board games so even if it rained you’d be entertained here for days. The house has plenty of room for everyone to be together or in our own separate spaces— every room had a tv! Overall, I am very impressed and would love to book again for next year! Worth every penny!

Mary Jo and Lina’s place was perfect for our family! It had so many kid friendly accommodations and was well kept and just a short walk to shops and restaurants! We loved our stay!

Beautiful home with easy check in, and a lovely view. This home was perfect for our stay, and I would highly recommend it for any families as it is suited to children and adults alike. The host was responsive and friendly, and we were altogether pleased with our experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The views were so beautiful and although there were homes close around, the grounds were nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to visit again!!!

This was a home away from home. It sits on a beautiful lake and it is so peaceful. We loved having coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Very comfortable home. We will stay here again. It's only 15 minutes to Helen, Georgia. Great location. I would highly recommend this house and Brittany is very responsive. Thank you again for letting us enjoy this house.

Great weekend getaway. The cabin is located in the mountain and has a beautiful view of the lake. Host was great at communicating and answering questions. Highly recommend !

We enjoyed our time at Attitude Adjustment. The location was wonderful, everything we wanted to do or needed was an easy drive. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that were provided in the description and the host was proactive and very friendly.

Scotty's cabin is fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever want. We really enjoyed the game room/man cave. It was a big hit! The cabin is a the very top of the mountain and has the best scenic drive. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

The cabin was exactly as described. So peaceful and such pretty views! The cabin was also fully stocked with anything you may need. We traveled with 2 kids and 2 adults. This cabin had all the games you could imagine, a Wii, a fire pit area, and a hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean! We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time, the house is in a great location and we cannot wait to return in the future!

Sum it up this way, sitting on the deck early morning looking at the water and my wife says we should stay longer, it is so peaceful.

We enjoyed our quick weekend at Sugar Shack. Everything with the rental was perfect! It was our first tiny house rental and it fit our needs perfectly. Super quiet area! Loved sitting by the fire pit and listening to sound from the stream adjacent to it! So relaxing. Definitely would consider renting again! Located centrally between Helen, Clayton, and Clarkesville. Each are about 20min way, but great shops and eats in each location.
