Wir waren sehr gerne in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Haarlem. Es war eine Freude, in den liebevollen und geschmackvollen Räumlichkeiten von Tavi und seiner Familie für eineWoche unterzukommen. Die Möglichkeiten, die diese Umgebung bietet, sind einfach grandios. 10 Minuten zum Meer und dem Nationalpark, eine halbe Stunde nach Amsterdam. Haarlem selbst ist eine einzigartige Perle. Wir sind dankbar und schauen gerne auf die Zeit zurück.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, perfektes Service, Kontaktangebot über W***sA**. Schönes Haus, alles sauber, so wie man es auch zuhause gerne hat, gute Gegend, schnell mit dem Fahrrad (drei stehen zur Verfügung) zum Dünensee oder mit dem Auto (Parkplatz in der Gasse vor der Tür) ans Meer. Haarlem ist eine sehr gute Gegend, viele Villen und Reihenhäuser, die Holländer sind alle sehr, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sogar im Supermarkt, wenn man etwas braucht, ist Hilfe da. Guter Ausgangspunkt auch für Ausflüge nach Amsterdam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der kleine Garten war eine Erhol-Oase. Drei große Betten, Zugang zu Netflix und Playstation, Einkaufen in der Umgebung zu Fuß möglich. Ausflüge in die Stadt, kulinarisch eine Reise wert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Jorieke als Host nur wärmstens empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Michel was very accommodating and made things easy for us. The apartment was good size, but some things weren’t working. ( TV, dryer, downstairs sink was slow to drain) we liked Harlem, but this accommodation was a little bit far from the center. Would be nice if it were closer to the train station for those using public transport and parking would be difficult.

Inge’s place is thoughtfully decorated and cozy! Our kids loved playing in her beautiful garden and my older daughter loved playing the piano in the living room. We also loved that there were two playgrounds nearby so our 4 and 9 year old had fun playing. Her place was convenient to the bus stop, a local restaurant, local grocery, all under a 10 min walk. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It gave us a taste of living in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Her son, Sammie, was responsive to my questions as was Inge. Our family had a great time! Thanks again, Inge and family! One thing to note and totally not host’s fault is that the staircase is winding and a bit narrow. When having young kids that are not used to such stairs, it was a little tricky at times.

We had a great stay. The garden in the back is a great place to have your morning coffee or evening tea and is pretty peaceful as it’s not connected directly to any public road. We enjoyed the place and felt welcomed since it had all the required amenities and we had access to everything we needed (e.g. washing machine). The location is pretty good, but take into account that the nearest supermarket is about 10-15 minutes walk. The train station and city centre are also in walkable distance.

Annemieke's place was amazing! I enjoyed this place with my family; it was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all six of us. The grocery store, a few food shops, and the bus station are all within walking distance, making it very convenient for travel to city as well. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-located stay.

Uns hat es hier äußerst gut gefallen und wir haben uns direkt total wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber, aufgeräumt und gemütlich. Die Umgebung war ebenfalls super schön und in der Nachbarschaft hat man sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Das WLAN Passwort war hinterlegt und zudem waren auch noch ein paar Nettigkeiten im Kühlschrank aufzufinden. Insgesamt ein super Service und wir haben nichts auszusetzen.

Karin was a wonderful host and her home was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and in the best neighbourhood! I really recommend staying here. We are a family of five and the space was perfect for us. Karin even had a bike for me to use so I could feel like a true local:)

Arjen’s house is super cozy and full of character. It’s a beautiful older building with a lot of charm and the family definitely makes it their own! The beds were comfy and the hosts were very responsive and provided us with very clear instructions. The kitties are super welcoming hosts and they were adorable company to show us around the house. The location is perfect, very easy to reach Haarlem’s city centre. We enjoyed our stay and would return!

Das Haus liegt in einer schönen und ruhigen Wohngegend von Haarlem. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr freundlich und es sind viele Familien mit Kindern unterwegs. Das Haus ist sehr und kinderfreundlich eingerichtet. Trotz der ruhigen Wohngegend ist man schnell in Amsterdam, in Zandvoort und auch im Zentrum von Haarlem. In der Nähe des Hauses befindet sich auch ein Supermarkt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder bei Sylvia übernachten. Die Kommunikation mit Sylvia war schnell und unkompliziert.

Lotje’s place is in a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to any shops and restaurants. Her place is great, very clean and has everything you need. The house is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is very near the (tourist attraction) via bus and train at Haarlem Station. The whole place made us feel at ease and with the cute cat name Sushi Lotje was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it ✨ Thanks Lotje!

We five had an excellent stay. Photos shown are accurate. We asked for a photo of the kitchen which was sent to us. Ground floor has kitchen, living room, and toilet under the stairs. Second floor has two bedrooms and a washroom with shower/bath but no toilet. Third floor is a bedroom. The place was reasonably clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Heating worked well once we figured out the thermostat. Kitchen has plenty of dishes/glasses/cutlery, etc. Small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean, and plenty of hot water. Back yard was very nice. Parking on the street was free. Streets are very narrow in the neighborhood. Very quiet. We walked to the Overveen train station to take the 20-minute train ride into Amsterdam to avoid hastle of driving and parking, but would drive to nearby Zandvoort, which is a great beach town. Nearby stores. Two bedrooms on 2nd floor had no dressers or suitable wardrobes, which would be nice to have.

We loved staying here - in a quiet neighborhood away from the busier area of Haarlem. It was super easy and pleasant to get to the center of Haarlem by walking (20 mins), and very quiet on our street. We liked staying in a typical Haarlem home with a sweet back garden and very steep stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor. The living areas, kitchen, bathroom were comfortable for our family of four adults. Because this is Eric and Veronique’s home, some areas were off limits - in particular, the closets and drawers for our clothing, so we had to live out of the suitcases for the week. But we didn’t mind as the home is so dear. Veronique was VERY responsive to my questions - and always kind and helpful. We’d stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our time at Myriam’s house! Her home is spacious, modern and delightful to stay in particularly with young children. Myriam was a great host and answered our queries very promptly. We would highly recommend to anybody who is travelling to Haarlem.

Nice unit in row housing, very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space, and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Right off the canal, with a large playground, grocery store, and tram into central Amsterdam a short walk away. Was too cold for swimming but seems possible. Ivan was great at helping us get settled in. The description was a little vague on bedding, but there is a master bedroom with a large bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs, all sharing a bathroom. The one bedroom had a loft bed, and the other had an air mattress, which was fine for our 2 kids. This definitely lived in by Boris's family including younger kids, and rented part-time, so definitely "lived in", but also means there's lots of games and such. Some "interesting" possibly kid-inappropriate pictures, if they're paying attention! Overall a perfect place for a few days in Amsterdam!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We only have positive emotions from our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haarlem. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Giulietta. La maison est dans un quartier résidentiel calme mais le centre ville d’Haarlem reste accessible à pieds. Nous avons profité de cette base pour découvrir la région et aller à Amsterdam en train depuis Haarlem. Le logement était agréable pour un séjour en famille avec un petit jardin clôturé et une aire de jeux pour enfants à côté. Giulietta a été très attentionnée et disponible. Elle nous a beaucoup aidés quand nous avons eu besoin de consulter un médecin. Merci encore !

We had the most wonderful weekend at Jade's beautiful home! Jade is an excellent host—her communication was clear and prompt, and she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She also provided a thoughtfully prepared guidebook full of useful tips that we referred to often during our stay. The house itself is a true gem—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and conveniently located. It has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The kitchen is exceptional—perfect for cooking together while enjoying great conversations—and the dining area was ideal for savoring meals and making memories as a family. The master bedroom was exquisite. Beds were incredibly comfortable bed ensuring a restful sleep. And the sauna? An absolute treat after a long day—a perfect way to relax and unwind. Jade’s home truly has everything you could want for a perfect getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern dort. Schönes Haus und vor allem tolle Küche und kleinem Garten! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Kinder haben sich über das Spielzeug sehr gefreut. Schöne ruhige Lage. Immer wieder gerne!

This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

Wir waren 3 ältere Frauen, welche die Unterkunft von Maren gebucht haben. Uns hat die sehr ruhige Umgebung äusserst gut gefallen, vor allem, dass wir nachts ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Auch wenn wir von der Central Station 15' mit der Tram fahren mussten und dann 5' zu Fuss, war das für uns absolut kein Problem. Wir haben nicht in der Unterkunft gegessen, aber es wäre alles vorhanden gewesen, um Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Allgemein hat alles gut geklappt und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.
