Comfort in the Cane Fields

The 1950s cane cutters Barracks looks the same outside but inside it has become a comfortable modern guest wing to the 1920s farmhouse. On the top floor, there are two ensuite rooms with queen beds, and a third room with two single beds which has a bathroom downstairs. There is a living room and limited kitchenette (no oven or cooktop). Luxury on your own, or up to six together. There are breezy decks all around, with great views over the cane fields, set in the midst of a working farm.

Enjoy the breeze on the front verandah with a glimpse of the ocean. A short walk across the road, down the steps and you are on the beautiful Brooms Head beach! The local 'Snak Shak' and General Store (along with the Bowling Club) is all within walking distance. There is no need to get in the car until it's time to checkout!

Just a short walk from the the beach this home features a large front deck with ocean views and and courtyard out the back with inbuilt seating and a shaded pergola for chilling out around the pool. The space offers 1 bedroom with a small balcony to enjoy your morning coffee, a spacious bathroom, and a living area with your own kitchenette. The cottage is attached to the main house but has its own entrance and completely separate so your privacy is respected at all times. The cottage overlooks the lovely pool. The space is quiet and well appointed making your stay extremely comfortable

It's a sunny morning , there's not a breath of wind , or ripple on the tidal lake 35 steps from my bedroom ( your bedroom ? ). the ocean is just across the National Park and here in the palms , the privacy and peace is magical . you're protected from hot summer winds and sunset evenings dining out , sharing the ambience, go..on and on .....

Pecan Palms log house is positioned next to the sandy bottomed Orara river, known for Bass fishing and crystal clear waters making it the ideal location to fish, canoe and swim. If wildlife watching and bushwalking is more your thing you can enjoy long walks through the 40 year old pecan orchards, Palm tree plantations and the Australian bush that surrounds the house on the 100 acre property.

Lovingly restored and completely private with its own walled courtyard, the granny flat is a lovely fresh and light filled space located just 200m from the magnificent Clarence river and a short walk/ride into the centre of town. The street is very quiet with plenty of parking and the flat is nestled in a large backyard surrounded by snippets of rural lifestyle including lush gardens, friendly chickens and hardworking bees.
