Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Our stay was truly magical. Magnús’s home is beautiful inside and out, and it's location in the Icelandic countryside is nothing short of stunning. We had to content with bad weather during our stay, and Magnús was extremely flexible in making sure we made it safely to the cabin, evening going so far as to allow us to delay our stay by a few days. A perfect getaway for my family. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Perfect accommodation for our week in Iceland. Hveragerdi is on the golden circle, not far from the airport or Reykjavik. Most other places of interest can be reached easily in a day. Hveragerdi has all you need, including shops, fuel, hot springs, geyser, hot river walk and swim location, great swimming pool and loads of nice walking. This meant we didn't have to drive every day, nice when the weather wasn't the best (we came in late March - everything from sunshine to blizzards). House was warm and welcoming, fully equipped for our stay and located in a quiet street. Alistair was the perfect host and offered several tips on getting the best from our time. In fact all the locals we met were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. Highly recommended and just what we were looking for.

Very nice and cozy family cottage near lake Thingvallir. Small kitchen, but great outdoor gas bbq. Friendly and communicative host. We definitely would stay here again on a next visit.

Her responses for our questions came back within 10minutes, and solved all problems. Great place came with a nice hot tub👍

WOW! That is the best description of Geirthruder's place. Maybe even more perfect than the photos. A perfect location to easily check out the Golden Circle The layout of her house is great with the living area dividing the two bedroom areas. Easy entrance, over-the-top kitchen, cozy woodburning fireplace, presitine in every way.... and THE VIEW!!! And the quiet!!! We cooked a good bit, just for fun. There is an amazing food market just a few minutes away (which was a highlight of our stay), Little Farmers Market. Staying at Geirthrudur's is a must!!!

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

Jon’s place was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! – It was very private and we very much enjoyed our stay in this cosy little cabin. Very well located in the middle of the Golden Circle with a fantastic view of the nearby mountain. It was the perfect location to explore Iceland's beautiful nature - All major attractions of the Golden Circle are reachable within 1 hour drive and with a slightly longer drive you can easily see much of the south. It felt like home from home after a long day of exploring and we loved watching the sun go down over the mountain from the deck. We were also very lucky to have a fabulous display of the northern lights at the end of April! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us for our first trip to Iceland!

This cabin was our favorite place is Iceland, it really surpassed our expectations. We were able to spot Auroras Boreales right from the deck. Thank you so much for a great stay

La cabaña de Kristinn ha sido sin duda alguna una de las perlas de nuestro viaje a Islandia. Una zona con mucha privacidad y en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de varios puntos de interés y de la ciudad de Selfoss. Lo hemos pasado en grande, habiendo ido con un bebé de 15 meses todo ha sido perfecto. Inolvidable la sensación de estar en nuestro jacuzzi mientras nevaba, repetiremos sin duda.

This is a beautiful house in a serene location. Hjalmar is a great host. Welcome drinks on our arrival made us feel we were in for a special stay. Highly recommended this place. All the things you need for a great stay. Remember to bring food to BBQ or roast. The nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away. If you are looking for that special getaway, this is it!

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

We had a really nice time as a small family (son, two years old) in Marteinn's house and stayed 5 nights. The house was easy to find thanks to his precise instructions and we were greeted personally (everything explained in detail, like the hotpool etc.). We immediately felt very comfortable and in love with die view and quietness. The house is incredibly beautiful and the location and the view are among the most beautiful we have seen in the world. The conservatory is a dream and the view from the hot pool (which we used every day with fresh geothermal water) was unreal. Our son enjoyed every second in the house. Everything was there, even toys and enough space to play. It was our third trip to Iceland and the location was perfect for exploring the south of Iceland. At the same time, we always had a wonderful retreat that felt like home.

What a beautiful and well equipped cabin. Can’t recommend enough - it was warm, clean, comfortable, and just perfect. We loved the hot tub every evening, making the perfect end to each day after seeing the sites of Iceland. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was 5-star—thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The place was spotless and well-equipped. The mattress was incredibly comfortable (memory foam) and the hot tub and sauna were amazing that took the experience to the next level. Lovely shower. Highly recommend!
