This is a great place to stay with extended family. We have stayed here twice - both times for funerals. All of the family has been able to stay here together which has been such a blessing since we are coming in from all over the country. The house wasn't quite as clean the second time but our concerns were heard and I'm sure they will make the necessary improvements before the next quests come. Alex was very responsive and we would love to come back for a fun trip next time and maybe in the summer. We have only been here in the fall and winter so I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. I would highly recommend staying here.

I can not say enough about how wonderful our experience was at this picturesque cottage! The caring and friendly host, Mary Kay, provided a super clean, comfortable, charming place for us and our three small children to stay. Honestly, we were sad we had to go! The kitchen provided everything needed; whether we cooked a meal, heated up take out, or just wanted a morning cup of coffee before the days’ events. And everything was immaculate and so well kept! Every bed was beautifully made with the softest and cleanest sheets, making all of us feel like we were staying with a caring family member. All our communication with the host, Mary Kay, was kind and she was always available to clarify any questions we had. She was also very knowledgeable of the area and went out of her way to provided information about Greeneville (as we were visiting for the first time.) Looking for a peaceful getaway only 10-15 min drive into Greeneville .. if you don’t need a ton of space .. a couple or small family this is your place. I stayed alone and felt safe and rested at the end of my stay

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I’m originally from the area and there is no place like this one nearby. The pictures truly do not do it justice as it’s even better and bigger in person. The furnishings are all new and you can immediately notice that Stephanie cares about the place and wants her guests to feel relaxed and at home. I had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie, and her husband, in the local restaurants and they are both wonderful people working to help revitalize this historic downtown area. Thank you so much for an amazing stay and I can’t wait to stay again when I come in to visit again.

Summer Hill is less than 15 minutes from Tusculum University and was close to everything we needed for our trip. The house was clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The hosts were very responsive and kind enough to accommodate a special request that we had. The kitchen was fully functional and we were able to cook several meals during our stay. For coffee fanatics (we had a few), there is a Keurig and a small regular coffeemaker. There is a Summer Hill sign at the end of the driveway however it is black so if you are arriving in the dark, you cannot see it. The GPS takes you to a steep gravel driveway that was a bit tough for my mid size sedan but there is a back entrance that is smoother. Summer Hill is a duplex but the back patios are completely separate and private and it did not feel like we were in an attached house. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would book again.
