very clean, stylish, and comfortable. the place was great and the pond was beautiful.

Barden is an excellent host. The grounds are beautiful. I was unable to get up the ladder in the pecan shelling house and Barden offered us either the house or the outbuilding. We chose the outbuilding which was perfect for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed all the room to spread out at the River Retreat #1. The space was very clean & nicely decorated. Truly a delightful find! The outside porch area overlooking the river & screened in eating/BBQ area were nice perks. While a thunderstorm changed our plans for an outdoor hangout time around the firepit, the giant sofa was perfect for an impromptu movie night. While not a concern for our group, those with mobility concerns should note that the kitchen, main queen bed area & full bathroom with shower are up a short 4-step flight of stairs. There is a second half-bath on the main level along with all the other beds, living & dining areas. We very much enjoyed our stay which was very comfortable for our group of 6.

We were able to check in early, our beds slept great and the basement was very clean. We would stay again if need to come back to this area!

We loved our stay at Sidney's place! Needed a large place for 10 people to stay and this was perfect! Plenty of space and a beautiful house. Sidney was very helpful and checked in on us during our stay to make sure we were taken care of!

Absolutely loved it here so peaceful ! The home was clean and nice and cool when we walked in ! Love the view out of the kitchen and absolutely loved driving around the near by little towns but NOTHING beat the sunsets 🫶🏻🥰 thank you !

We have stayed at Downtown Oasis several times. Jamel is a very responsive host. The house is very clean with plenty of seating in the living room. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of linens. Would definitely recommend!
