The location and place was beautiful, clean, and well decorated. The hosts were very responsive if I had a problem or could not locate an amenity. I would highly recommend if someone wanted to stay in the area!

Our family had a great time at Darien’s cabin. We were about 10-15 minutes from some great hiking, the gorge bridge, and great restaurants in the cute town of Fayetteville. My kids got to watch snow falling one morning on the front porch and we listened to the frogs every time it rained. The hot tub was heavenly! Thank you so much for having us and for all of the effort that you put into making our stay comfy, peaceful, and special.

Quaint, peaceful, beautiful cabin for a get away! The cabin is homey with an incredibly comfortable bed, cozy fireplace, and private hot tub perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. The commute to Snowshoe was also incredibly doable- about 45-50min.

I had an amazing stay at Yank Cabin! It’s tucked away in the woods and was the perfect spot to unplug and unwind. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the cabin was, it had everything I needed and more. The hot tub was a dream after long hikes, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. Caley is a fantastic host, super responsive and helpful throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet getaway in the woods, this is it! I’m sure I’ll be back.

Super friendly host in a cabin that’s perfectly private and easy to get to - very close to town. Loved the included pizza and breakfast. Even helped me retrieve a piece of jewelry that fell down the sink drain immediately and with no complaints. Thank you!

Great stay overall, would recommend to a friend! We were climbing in New River Gorge Proper and Summerville, and the house served as a great basecamp. The 2nd floor loft is a very cozy retreat! My only notes are that the interior lighting could use some improvement (low lamps instead of overhead lighting), and blackout curtains would be nice to insulate sleepers from passing headlights. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs & eye mask to block out the road noise & light.

My wife, our golden retriever and I stayed 3 nights. This cabin is off the beaten path and that is what we wanted. Everything was as described. Our dog, Gracie, loved the wide open space to run. Inside, the cabin was clean and modern with tons of living room space. This is the place to unplug. We do recommend.

I can’t say enough great things about Teresa and Rusty’s place, from the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Directions and instructions were thought out and clear, everything was as described. The wifi worked perfectly and there was also a selection of DVDs for evening entertainment. Teresa and Rusty went above and beyond by recommending local motorcycle routes as well as helping us out with parking information and documents for the event we were attending. Our family loved this quiet retreat and that is was so close the Cranberry River for fishing. We found it well stocked with kitchen cookware and utensils. We enjoyed the campfire area and wood was well stocked. One thing to note is their is not a dishwasher, so be sure to getting a helping hand from the family. Also, while there is Internet available, I'm not sure the 1.1mbps DSL would allow for remote work. Probably not a big deal for most but for those that do split work and vacation, just be aware.

this was a very relaxing place. Convenient to the river trail, great fishing, and a beautiful spot on the river. Place was clean and as advertised. Would definitely love to come again when it is warmer to swim!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was perfect for our family and pooch. All the welcoming touches too. We had everything we needed. The beds and bedding were so comfy. Evan and his wife are wonderful, from the moment we booked to the time we left the cabin to head home. Everything was clean & organized, very home like & cute.

Great place to get away for a few days and do some outdoor activities. The cranberry river and wilderness being so close is awesome, I highly recommend fishing the river. Of course my favorite thing is zero light pollution at night for stunning night skies. I had a very good stay and can’t wait to return.

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay at Ashly's cabin! Ashly gave us very accurate and detailed directions to her cabin and the roads were also well-marked. Our GPS worked until the end of the driveway. We arrived around 11 pm with no problems. The cabin is in such a peaceful location in the middle of the woods. It was a great place to relax and stargaze. It is also within a 30-40 minute drive of any place you would need to go: Beartown, Cranberry Glades, Lewisburg, the Greenbriar River Trail, a gas station, etc. A lot of love and care has been put into the cabin itself. It has a very home-like vibe. There were shelves and shelves of books, anything you would need in the kitchen, and a well-furnished living room with lots of natural light. The outhouse is right beside the house and is by far the nicest outhouse I've ever seen. Ashly even left us honey and farm eggs, which we thoroughly enjoyed. At the time, the deck wood needed to be replaced, so the deck was off-limits. However, there is a big yard and some benches out there, so not having the deck was not a problem. We are definitely planning on staying here again! Thanks so much for our wonderful stay!

The mountain top cabin is a beautiful property with lots of room and amazing views. Our group of three couples slept very comfortably and enjoyed the natural surroundings. Richard was very responsive when we had a small plumbing issue and we would certainly rent the place again if we are ever back in the area.

My daughter and I stayed for one night for a two day ski adventure at Snow Shoe. The cabin is very easy to find and on the way to the ski area. It takes about 30 mins to get to Snowshoe in snowy, wet weather. So not long at all. The cabin is perfect for two to three people. It was cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. It is located on a River near a park and you can walk into Marlington. Very close to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.
