Frieda and Peter are great hosts. They have a very beautiful home. Frieda made very tasty breakfast and we cannot be more grateful. Highly recommend and I would come back next time when we visit Vancouver again.

I had extremely wonderful experience staying at Cedar Hill. We were travelling with my 11 month old & Brigitte was so helpful. She even warmed up milk for whenever I asked. The place was very clean and location was great as well. 🥰

Wild and wonderful place, got to meet a lot of cool people and felt very at home and welcome there, very good for if you're visiting the city and want to meet people and have a relaxed family-type environment, the room itself was really cute and felt very warm and homely, place was on a really nice little street and near a road with a load of restaurants and stores and so on, Kat was super nice and great to talk to

This place is great for a fun weekend in Vancouver. Frieda and her husband are welcoming and breakfast is great. There is ample parking, close to downtown Richmond. If you want to go to Vancouver from her place you must drive to Richmond and take the train or drive into Vancouver. Overall great stay and will be back again!

I stayed at Margaret’s Bed and Breakfast for 8 nights and it felt like a home away from home. I loved Margaret. She is a wonderful woman, so warm and friendly and she has kept her home exactly the same too-warm, welcoming, so neat and clean. Each room in the house has a theme and is cozy with all amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. She would make a wholesome delicious breakfast for all the guests by herself which she would serve between 9-10am every morning. Everyone would gather in her kitchen, sitting on the dining table or kitchen bar and exchange conversations and stories about where they were from and where they were going. These mornings have been one of the most enjoyable parts of my stay here. The location is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood just a street above the esplanade. Its a lovely 15 mins walk to Lonsdale Avenue which has many shops and restaurants. There r some restaurants even closer than that too, 2 lanes away. I will surely stay here again!

Great place

I was looking for somewhere close to a wedding we were attending - it was a 5 minute walk! I was greeted by the owner who helped me get into the suite, showed me around and made me feel welcome. No issues at all.

For the second year in a row, great layover and breakfast at Frieda’s place on our way from Montreal to South Pacific. Very hospitable and great flexibility for the check in and check out. Excellent breakfast, tasty and plenty of food. Very highly recommended.

Lovely stay Cindy’s private guest suite! This was a very cozy and quiet airbnb and extremely well stocked for our needs. Instructions were clear for parking and access. Breakfast items were included which was lovely! Lots of food options a close drive away, and our host even recommended a cherry blossom festival happening during our stay. We had a wonderful experience. Cindy was very responsive to our needs.

Wow, what a wonderful place to relax and enjoy everything Salt Spring has to offer! The food was amazing, the carriage house was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub and stargazing was the cherry on top! 10/10 Recommend :)

We are so delighted to have stumble across Ken and Kea’s AirBnb, this is truly a special place. There were so many personal touches to make our stay so inviting and comfortable from greeting us upon arrival and meeting Bentley, to having our fridge stocked with breakfast for each morning (fresh fruits, baked goods, yogurt, juice and coffee), and fresh towels throughout our week there. The space is exactly as described and very clean. Thanks again Ken and Kea for hosting the three of us!

Das Haus von Daisy war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohngegend. Das Zimmer ist extrem sauber, komfortabel und mit allen nützlichen Gadgets ausgestattet. Die Gastfreundlichkeit sowie die Herzlichkeit von Daisy haben meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen, ich fühlte mich sofort wie zu Hause. Ich habe noch nie eine Gastgeberin erlebt, die ein B&B mit so viel Leidenschaft führt. Ich war alleine in Vancouver und Daisy hat mir sehr geholfen, mich einzuleben und sich liebevoll um alles gekümmert ❤️! Und nicht zu vergessen ist Lulu der herzige Pudel 😃. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ausserordentlich gross, dies habe ich sehr geschätzt. Auch sonst gibt es immer frisches Obst, Kekse, usw. Danke Daisy, dass ich dein Gast sein durfte 🙏🏻, ich werde meinen Aufenthalt bei dir nie vergessen!!

Rebecca is a charming and natural hostess who graciously accommodated my requests for early breakfast and early check-in. Her place is comfortable with great family-owned restaurants in walking distance. The outdoor space is attractive and restful.

10/10 would recommend if you are looking for for a place to stay in Salt Spring Island, Birgitte welcomed us warmly soon as we park. Every morning we get served a really delicious breakfast, enjoying it while looking at the nature view outside the window. And during midday, she leaves a bag of different goods in front of your door. The hot tub is also a highlight in this place, feels very private and peaceful.

David's place was beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located near the Richmond Night Market(an awesome Asian food festival just 10 mins away). The room had a hot water kettle for tea or coffee and he also had a wonderful array of breakfast options downstairs in the kitchen. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! :)

Joanne is truly an amazing host. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and I would put this one at the top of my list. Joanne worked hard to make us feel so comfortable and at home. She provides delicious full breakfasts each day or a continental breakfast that you can take with you if you have to leave early. She was always on hand to answer any questions or to help us in any way (including lending me an umbrella when it was teeming rain). I would highly recommend Joanne’s home for your Vancouver stay

A great retreat for a mom and two kiddos looking for a change of scenery. My kids 6 and 9 slept in the garden suite and I slept in the lake view room just above. I worked during the day while my kids were off at a local camp and we all felt right at home. The environment was quiet and we had all the amenities needed for a comfy week away from home over spring break. Ashley is a super host who took my kiddos on a little tour of the backyard oasis to visit the ducks and small pond. I look forward to future stays here.

we had such a lovely stay at Amanda's cottage. It was such a cute place, nicely decorated, comfortable and really nice touches. We didn't use the kitchen but it was so nice to have the option. The bathroom was really nice and clean and cute as well. we had a little trouble getting in. the lock was confusing to manage but we figured it out. also if you are coming in at night it can be a little dicey without a flashlight as it's through a forest walk. an excellent stay for a cozy visit to salt spring and close to town. would definitely stay here again. thank you for a wonderful visit Amanda.

Great experience - quaint, eclectic home in a neighborhood about a ten minute walk from shops and the SkyTrain to get into downtown. The space was great for two of us. Had fun connecting with Katrine as well as the other guests. Wonderful host!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Sue’s place. Her warm welcome made us feel at ease right away, and her attention to detail truly made a difference. I'm so glad I chose to stay in this beautiful private room with a detached bathroom! The moment I stepped in, I felt at peace. The host is incredibly polite, nice, and welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews, I didn't encounter any issues with cockroaches. The room was spotless, and the detached bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect - just a 5-minute walk to supermarkets, banks, and major areas. You'll love the convenience of having everything at your doorstep! The living room and kitchen are equipped with all the amenities you need, including fast Wi-Fi. Plus, the free parking right at the door and laundry is a huge bonus! New management has really made a difference - everything is well-organized, and the communication is top-notch. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and affordable stay in the city. Don't hesitate to book - you won't regret it! 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Cute place with a very cute dog. Love that we would allowed to have our pups with us. Breakfast was a very nice surprise and wonderful each morning. Sunsets on the deck were very nice as well. The garden is beautiful and I loved seeing all the deer on the island.
