This river side retreat just steps from the heart of Davis is my go to haven. I have stayed here three times in nine months. On top of a top notch kitchen, a home living room, a very comfy bed the true star of this gem are the views of the river from it's picture window. The front porch has nice deck chairs and the fire pit is awesome. There is also a covered shelter picnic table between the apartments and the houses. I've enjoyed my cereal in coffee there many times. The other great thing about this rental is you can easily walk to the gallery, shops and restaurants in Davis. it's less than a block. The host is very friendly and responsive. I adore this wonderful oasis. I always return feeling recharged. I highly recommend this Canaan treasure!

Great stay at Allison's place. It was light and airy, easy to find, and centrally located across the street from several restaurants and with a grocery store just a couple of blocks away. Communications were friendly, helpful, and very prompt. A wonderful experience all around, would not hesitate to book again.

I loved staying here! It was quaint and peaceful with a great centralized location in downtown Davis. Would definitely come back!

Alison was wonderful and so kind to accommodate a special request for us. We took our first trip with a new baby and the Airbnb was perfect. Great location. Clean space with everything we needed. My 4 year old slept on the pull out couch which was a great / comfortable one! Great place. Highly recommend.

Nancy’s place was great! Everything was clean and nice. Perfect location for a weekend ski trip to Timberline. It was so nice to walk into a place where everything was clean and wonderful and no scented plug in overwhelmed the space! Next time there are 2 of us traveling to Davis, we would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful and restful place to enjoy an array of outdoor opportunities as well as the art scene in Davis and Thomas. Comfortable, stylish, great bathroom and shower, kitchen and bed. Easy to access and parking was great!

Great place. Everything you need in a killer location. Kimberly was great. We had a few questions and she got right back to us with the info we needed.

We had a great stay, our 1st time in Davis but it won't be our last and would definitely book this property again! The location was a perfect home base for the sites and activities we had lined up. It was nice to have dining options right there and we especially loved the convenience of hopping on the bike and being on trails within minutes. The fire pit area was nice, always love to see and hear the water. We appreciated Allison's responsiveness to our requests during the stay. Davis, WV is a true gem!

This is a unique and super cool place, and much bigger than it looks in the photos. I really enjoyed having the garage door open on the warm spring days and evenings, with a nice breeze flowing through the open space. The kitchen has everything you would need, with just about every size pan and pot you could desire. Davis is a tiny town, so you're just a short walk away from everything. Although the property is located on the main street, the living space is so far away from the front door, you never hear any traffic from outside. I highly recommend staying here, and if I return to Davis, I definitely will stay here again.

Host was quick to respond to all our needs. This place was gorgeous, so glad they are doing something with this old building, beautiful decor, and love how they are highlighting all the quirks of this historic place. Absolutely love that it’s in the middle of town, everything is easily walkable. Also was a perfect safe space for our pup. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to return.

We spent four awesome nights at the Rambling Rose and loved it. This boho apartment in downtown Davis was perfect. The vintage couch, cool artwork, and eco touches gave it such unique charm. It’s steps from everything in Davis. We walked to dinner, explored shops in Thomas, and hit Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls. The kitchen was great, beds comfy, and the workspace ideal for a quick Zoom. Luscombe was an awesome host with killer local tips. We’ve totally fallen for this place and can see a lot more time here in our future!
