This was our 2nd time staying here, and again we had a fantastic trip. We came with our kids, and our friends and their kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing and offers nice walks as a family. When it's snowy, our kids love going across the street to play. We'll definitely be coming back!

Lisa was very proactive in fixing any issues we had during our stay. Gave great recommendations for near by attractions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We have stayed 3 years in a row. we will come back again next year. very peaceful, and quiet...our dogs also love this place. love the sound of the river and the trains. Ember and Chris had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

Sam’s place is so magical! We had a Christmas family reunion here and it was so perfect. Sam was an exceptional host, and extremely proactive and responsive. They had a lovely Christmas tree and decorations, and the house was cozy and warm and beautiful. Sam really thinks of everything families could need! We baked cookies and family meals, took the kids sledding with the provided sleds, and explored their beautiful property and the nearby trails. Thank you for an amazing family vacation!

The cabin was very cozy and clean! It looks just as described. Very peaceful and private. My dogs enjoyed the cabin and enjoyed the dog walking trail that was listed on the guest book. Definitely planning to come again!

The house worked well for our after Christmas time with family. The house was extremely clean.! The kitchen was well stocked. We needed to adjust our dates last minute due to a family emergency. Sarah was flexible and accommodating with the date change. It was an overall positive experience.

This is a great place with a fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities you could need. comfortably sleeps 8. It was clean and response time was v good. We had a great time on the deck and saw deers and a wolf (we think) as well.

We've stayed at a lot of airbnbs and this one was by far one of the best. Super clean, amazing layout, close to the rec center and lodge. It is great for two families with both upstairs and downstairs living rooms and 2 bedrooms each. The attic space with three beds might be hard for little kids to sleep in by themselves since getting down the ladder at night to use the bathroom would be tricky- though it would be easy for parents to sleep up there with kids. But the downstairs room with the bunkbed is perfect for Littles. And it's dog friendly - it's hard to find such a nice clean place that also takes dogs.

Such a wonderful home. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable trip, and can’t thank them enough, for the opportunity. Only suggestion would be to have the checkout instructions on the entry table with all the other helpful information. Is recommend this AirBnB to everyone. Thanks again!!

The cabin was lovely and clean, well situated near Donner snow play area. Very family friendly!

The house was clean, modern, and functional! great location that was basically walking distance from the Tahoe Donner Nordic Center. It took me about 15 minutes to ski to the Nordic Center from the house on Alder Creek road - before the snow melted off, that is. I wish the hot tub was functional / turned on prior to our arrival. Other than that everything was great. Kitchen was stocked with cookware enough to cook dinner for 8, and there was staples like salt pepper and some spices. I would totally stay again!

Had an amazing month- long stay at Johanna’s home. Was our home away from home for the winter, and the close snowshoeing, cross country, and downhill skiing options made it a winter dream. Close to truckee for groceries and restaurants, well stocked kitchen and living room for cooking! Would stay again, thank you for the great stay!

We went up with a family of 8, 6 adults and 2 children. The home was incredibly clean, location was easy to find, check in and out was very simple and easy. The neighborhood is incredibly clean, quiet, and relaxing. Brooke was incredibly nice and responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

Vika’s place was the perfect spot for my big group of friends to spend a snowy weekend. Snowshoeing, downhill skiing, and cross country skiing trails are all very close by and accessible. The house was perfectly clean and Vika was a very communicative and accommodating host. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

What an awesome weekend we had! The place is absolutely perfect! Easy check in, place is exactly described perfectly, sooooo convenient, peaceful, breathtaking scenery, and most of all communication was absolutely wonderful! Everything was so clean and accessible. Huge thank you to Nikolas for being so responsive and helpful. My family felt right at home. Thank you for memories made at a beautiful place ❤️We will definitely be back.

Exactly what we were looking for! We wanted one night away with our two dogs and this was PERFECT. The dogs were so happy I was scared they would never want to leave. The house is so CUTE and super cool. Loved how off the grid and fully prepared the house was

Beautiful house with a fine location

Colby’s place was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. The space is comfortable and unique. We stayed with just our family of four, but could easily fit another family. My kids especially loved the pool table. We will definitely stay again!

Ben's house was amazing to stay at. The house exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, had great amenities and thoughtful touches (board games, more than enough dishes, an ice machine). The actual house I think was even better than described. More beds than listed--one of the rooms was a loft above the garage with its own living room and bathroom. This was excellent for our group so that one couple could get some extra peace and privacy while not being at a separate house. Highly recommend staying here!

We were in town for a golf tournament and this house was in a great location right on the course. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos and exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely responsive and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again next year.

Truly a beautiful get away spot. Perfect cabin in the woods, close to the lake. Really enjoyed being a 5 minute drive to the water, lots of hiking/running trails close by.
