What a truly perfect little spot! Wow. My husband and I were en route from Joburg back home to Harare and wanted a final peaceful retreat in the mountains. Wow, did we get it! Gail kindly upgraded us to Mandara’s cabin. We lovely waking up to young red duikers playing just outside the cabin, got to see a banded mongoose and have a lovely time watching birds whilst bathing al fresco. Such lovely personal touches - loved the sweet note and thoroughly enjoyed reading about the local wildlife in the guidebook. We very much hope to be back soon.

La maison de Teresa mériterait 6 étoiles ! Qu'il fait bon vivre dans sa maison, très bien aménagée, avec une magnifique vue sur la rivière et la nature environnante. Teresa est une personne très sympathique. Bref, une adresse coup de cœur ! La maison est assez isolée de la ville, attention à veiller à prendre toutes les provisions nécessaires.

Great value for money. Home away from home.

From the day i checked in i felt right at home. The place was pleasant and comfortable. Gave off a warmth that made it feel like home away from home. The host is always available for any assistant needed. The daily upkeep and cleaning also gave off a nice feeling to retire to after a hectic day from work. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone, especially travelling for work and fo longer stays. That was the most peaceful and comfortable 11 days away from my home ive ever had.

Good place for resonable money,

We didn't end up staying here as our car broke down in Harare. I gave a 5 for everything as I'm sure everything is worthy of 5 based on Sarita's response and kindness. I didn't give her much notice that we weren't going to make it and she kindly offered to move our date (which we couldn't make again cause the car wasn't ready). In the end my husband left Harare super early and just drove through to jhb. Thank you Sarita for your kindness, patience and flexibility. Really appreciate it.

Lovely place. A great place to relax and recharge. Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely visit again.
