great spot to stay in the Terra Nova area

Juanita is an amazing host and her place is lovely! She's easy to contact and wants to ensure that her guests have everything they need. Our employees requested to stay at her place on future visits to the area.

Staying at Paul's was the most amazing thing for my whole trip. Playing some pool, having BBQ hanging out with friends and relaxing in a room with wonderful view recharged us from exhausting weekdays. Paul is really kind introducing his house and closing landscapes. We had a great time there!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage on Thorburn Lake, just a short drive from Clarenville, and it was nothing short of spectacular! After a fun-filled day of skiing, we arrived at this gem of a spot, and it was the perfect retreat for relaxation and quality family time. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The cottage was impeccably equipped with everything we could possibly need. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, made meal prep and cleanup a breeze. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver for our snow-covered gear, and the great shower was a welcome luxury after a day on the slopes. I was particularly impressed by the abundance of condiments and essentials thoughtfully provided—perfect for those little things you might forget! But the absolute highlight for me was the fireplace. Nothing beats the cozy warmth and ambiance of a crackling fire, and this place had it all! They provided plenty of wood, that I used. I will be back.

We loved the view, the comfortable beds and if you like to cook, you ‘ll love the kitchen. The house is very comfortable! If you are the lucky one to sleep in the « sunny « bedroom, view out the bay when you wake in the morning is the best I have ever experienced! The circular staircase could be a challenge for some. The B and B is one kilometre away from the local craft brewery. For those who like to walk , this walk along the winding hilly road along the edge of the cove is as much of a treat as the excellent beer at the brewery pub. I would definitely stay there again.

Great spot with an excellent view. The cabinishouse is clutter free, and have everything you need for a short stay!You will qake up with an amazing view of thesunriseo over the sea. will definitely come back again!

William was very friendly, had a pot of coffee on waiting for us with a basket of fresh hen eggs. He was very attentive and offered information on the area, which was very helpful! House was like going back in time, antique furnishings, property was beautifully landscaped, wildflowers, fruit trees, barns and a nearby nature trail. Very lovely with a great view of the Bonavista Lake.. Will definitely return to Bill‘s place if I’m in the area again.

Amazing stay. Felt right at home. Homemade bread and jam was a nice touch and very good! Would definitely stay there again.
