Perfect and quiet place to gather with family! Very comfortable , have everything you need very accesible and easy to find. We felt very safe.

The place was great for our group. Very clean, free of clutter, kitchen fully stocked. We had a minor plumbing issue that was taken care of promptly. David was super helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

Great place for our group of 4. Didn’t get to use hot tub or fire pit but maybe next time.

Perfect house for a girls getaway. Space was cozy, beds were comfortable and house was super clean. The location was great and it was convenient for all the places we went around the area. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was great. The communication regarding check-in, operation of hot tub etc was good. We didn't have any issues during our stay there.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for access to Main St, the wine trail, and don’t forget Luckenbach! The layout gave us plenty of room for our group of 4 (each with their own bedroom) and each felt they had a private space. Clean house without a lot of demands upon leaving (take care of the home as you would your own). When we had a question, it was answered promptly. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

We had a wonderful time at Paula's cottage. After being out all day sightseeing, we looked forward to "coming home." That was the feeling we had when we drove down the drive toward the cottage. Serenity. Welcoming. The cottage is exactly as described. We sat on the back patio and soaked up the calm and were treated to watching deer with their fawns in the area behind the house as well as Buttercup, Paula's horse. The swing on the front porch was also great as we watched the hummingbirds flick around and everywhere there are flowers - in the ground, in pots, etc. Inside the house it was immaculate and so many interesting items of history to fill your mind. Great sleeping. I only hope on our next trip to Fredericksburg, the cottage will be available again for our use. Merrie and Ali Garland/Dallas, Texas

We lost our best friend, making our visit to Mountain Home a somber event. The location was less than one mile from their home making it convenient to travel back-and-forth. It was a blessing to be able to come to a peaceful and quiet place to rest. We did not have the opportunity to truly take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed for our stay was available to us. It is evident this home is decorated with love and thought. If you seek serenity we encourage you to plan a stay. Ps…I enjoyed the treats especially the sausage bites…thank you.

We really enjoyed our quick getaway! The apartment was so nice and I loved the amazing bathroom. We would love to come back.

Peaceful location; near Main Street . Plenty of space, jacuzzi was a relaxing added feature. There still is construction in the back, but did not disturb us over the weekend.

Lovely grounds and nice, cozy apartment on the first floor with a full kitchen, large bath, nice living room. Bed was so comfortable that we overslept! You really can't beat the grounds - like going to a park. No street noise. Out of town yet a five minute drive to anywhere you want to go. Best of both worlds. Beats a hotel room by a mile

This was the perfect space for myself and my 6 closest friends to celebrate my bachelorette party!! Its was such a beautiful space and very quiet and private. The host was so proactive with check in information, was flexible with an early check in time. They provided a clean and charming stay. I would stay here 10 times over, very affordable and walkable! Great location, close but not too close to the bustle of Fredericksburg. Beautiful property and lots of refreshing outdoor space. Cute and comfortable guest house with everything we needed for a last-minute, weekend getaway.

Paul’s place was just right for the getaway we wanted. Spacious enough for staying a few days. We wanted to have a quiet place as our location to explore the hill country.

Absolutely loved the peaceful location away from the city. The front porch, with its two rocking chairs, felt like a little slice of paradise—so calm and ideal for relaxing. The cabin itself is warm, inviting, and perfect for a romantic couples retreat. Laura was incredibly responsive, and her property is truly beautiful.

A great, quiet home for 2 couples. The area was very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The outside seating areas were just as clean as the inside. I never saw any cobwebs or spiders. The chairs were free of dust and didn’t need to be wiped off before I sat down. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for your home, the bottle of wine, snacks, and plenty of coffee!

The Gumbo Getaway was a beautiful secluded space just a few minutes outside of the town. Well equipped home. Kelsey was proactive in her communications throughout our stay and I even ran into her while walking my dog, extremely friendly and made me feel right at home.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to downtown and very peaceful stay. I highly recommend it.
