Made and his family are some of the best hosts we have stayed at. Incredibly responsive, friendly people who were always attentive to us. Impeccable housekeeping, great location, spacious room, secluded pool and amazingly delicious breakfasts. Thanks to this family, we fell in love with Ubud and will definitely return to them again 💫

Wayan and her family were perfect hosts. The place was immaculate, gorgeous pool, and beautiful views. Breakfast at The Hide Out downstairs was delicious and filling. Wayan even went out of her way to make rice porridge for my husband when he wasn’t feeling well. We stayed 5 days and will stay with them again when we come back to Bali! Best place we have stayed in our 3 weeks here.

Udi's place was absolutely sensational. From the second we booked the villa, Udi was friendly and polite. The villa is about 2kms from Central Ubud, so with a scooter it's a leisurely 7 minute ride. There is a scooter rental place just up the road called Arjuns scooter rental. The villa is amongst rice paddies and incredibly peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging by the pool and listening to the birds chirping away in the fields. The breakfast was served to our villa each morning and it was fresh and delicious. Udi allowed us to leave our bags at the villa after check out as we had a late evening flight which was very helpful. There were lovely coffee shops and spa's along the main road to Ubud centre that were just a short walk from the villa. The best place I have ever stayed in Bali. 100% recommend.

I had a great accommodation at Kadek’s traditional Balinese home. It was reasonably worth it. Their family had been warm and friendly to me. They served me good breakfast and I was given the opportunity to try a usual Balinese breakfast. The place was exactly as described and It’s near Ubud’s city center. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This place was amazing, beautiful, everyone is super friendly, all are helpful, and all amenities provided dont disappoint! They also have the 'extras' that you tend to search for like laundry service and massages. Its location is top notch as well. You have everything around you and the main area of Ubud is close enough to go and far enough to be just outside of it. I already booked another stay before I left.

The Rice Joglo was amazing! Perfect place for us to stay with our kids as they loved the organic farm, ducks and baby chicks! Cooking class was great and such delicious meals! All staff were extremely helpful for organising our stay, and providing transport! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Мне очень понравилось на вилле Ayu. Это очень похоже на то, что я ждала от балийского жилья. Ванная с туалетом под открытым небом, просторная комната, большие окна, вдали от суматошного центра, но при этом в транспортной доступности. Постель удобная, постельное белье чистое. Ночью ничто не разбудит вас, будут слышны только сверчки, цикады и, возможно, лягушки. Рядом есть очень приятное и вкусное кафе. Хозяйка добрая и приветливая, остались самые лучшие воспоминания. Есть два момента, которые путешественники должны знать заранее, чтобы не получилось неожиданности. В комнате нет кондиционера, есть только вентилятор под потолком, но не поверите, я не включила его ни разу за 3 дня, потому что душно не было днем, а вечером и ночью так вообще приятная прохлада из открытого окна (возможно этр эффект рисового поля под окном). И второй момент, хозяева проводят ежедневные мастер-классы по изготовлению украшений и резьбе по дереву, поэтому слышен стук молотков, но мне это совсем не мешало)

Nos hospedamos con mi novia en el departamento con balcón por tres noches y es muy recomendable. Es muy lindo, ordenado y el balcón es hermoso con vista a una arboleda. La ubicación es adecuada, central, cerca de los principales lugares turísticos y rodeados de muchos restaurantes, tiendas de ropa y souvenirs. Además, no hay ruido. Sin duda alguna lo mejor de la estadía acá fue la atención de Putu y su familia. Siempre estuvieron muy atentos a cada detalle, contestando rápidamente a cada duda que les hacíamos. El desayuno que nos traían era delicioso. Además, tuvieron un hermoso detalle con nosotros. El último día nos trajeron una cena riquísima cocinada por ellos mismos. Totalmente recomendable. Alquilamos moto y la pudimos guardar acá.

Very easy to check in and the place was really private and nice! Awesome breakfasts in the morning and only a 10 minute walk from Ubud town. Hosts were great and even organized transport from the airport too!

Place is amazing. Great location which has small lovely cafes in the area. Walk to Capihan ridge trail. We just walk to ubud center for dinner (maybe 20-25 minutes) then take grab on way back. The restaurant is great with amazing chef. What we like the most are the people. They are always around if you need them. Their smile is contagious. You get this light feeing when you are with them. Front office with Meli is great, she makes sure you get a great stay. We felt special.

Overall great stay! Not too crazy far from Ubud city center, though you may want to use a car every once in a while to get downtown. However, there are great places to eat very close nearby as well. The facilities are beautiful, everything is pristine, and the staff attended to our every need!

Nyoman and her team (Bagus and Tia) are amazing! They are friendly and always available to assist, provide recommendations and share local knowledge about Ubud. Nyoman is available for communication and is always very helpful. The villa is beautiful, private, quiet, and clean. It's a fantastic location just outside the main hustle and bustle of Ubud. It's such a comfortable stay, like a little home away from home. I will absolutely be visiting again! Thank you so much Nyoman for an amazing first experience to Bali!

Es war eine tolle Unterkunft mit super Mitarbeitern, die sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich waren.

Unser Aufenthalt in "The Valerian Villa" in Ubud war traumhaft. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter vor Ort ist ebenso besonders anzumerken, wie die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten. Insbesondere, weil der Komplex direkt an einem Reisfeld liegt, hatten wir zunächst Sorgen, ob auch im Zimmer viele Tiere anzutreffen sind. Diese Sorge hat sich aber schnell erledigt, als wir angekommen sind. The Valerian Villa ist eine Ruheoase in der Nähe des lebhaften Ubud. Zweimal pro Tag wird sogar ein kostenloser Shuttle-Service angeboten. Wir finden, die Unterkunft sieht in der Realität nicht nur wie auf den Bildern, sogar noch etwas besser aus. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen :)

One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing dining experience. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of delicious, fresh, and locally inspired dishes that were a treat for the senses. Such a beautiful place! It’s tucked away a little so you’re away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud but only a quick 15 minute drive or 20 minute walk away from Ubud. The room is absolutely beautiful overlooking the jungle. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious and the service at the hotel is top tier. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to stay. Close the centre of Ubud but far away enough that it was mostly quiet. Everything was clean and as described. The only thing to note is that directly across as a paddle sports hall so it can be quite loud. No problem at all for me because the place a was so lovely but good to know incase that is something that would disturb you. The staff were INCREDIBLE. So so helpful and kind. Fede was absolutely amazing and made sure my laundry was done and my place was kept clean and Ngurah, Anwar and Wahyu were also very kind. Definitely worth the price I really recommend this place.

Der Besuch war magisch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat funktioniert und ich wurde wundervoll von der Familie empfangen. Dewu war hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das kleine Häuschen war wunderschön und paradiesisch. Ich hatte den Garden Room und der Ausblick von meinen Häuschen war wirklich atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen gab es hausgemachtes balinesisches Frühstück aufs Zimmer serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Ausflüge die ich mit Dewu waren wunderschön. Da ich alleine am reisen bin, war es gut einen Guide an seiner Seite zu haben, der alles erklären kann. Ausserdem machte er wunderschöne Videos und Fotos von mir. Da diese Unterkunft eher etwas ländlicher liegt und nicht direkt im Zentrum, kann man sich da super entspannen und runterkommen. Es gibt einen Pool wo man sich abkühlen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Es gab auch immer die Möglichkeit Dinner aufs Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

1.Локация 10 минут пешком до центральной улицы и 3 минуты на мотоцикле. На районе особо ничего нет, но это не было для нас проблемой так как мы на мотоцикле и можно быстро доехать до чего угодно. Напротив отеля музыкальная школа, очень шумно, репетируют игру на тарелках допоздна. 2. Территория отеля Очень мило, большая обеденная зона, бассейн, лежаки, сад, общий холодильник 3. Номера Я бы поставил 3 балла из 5. Стены из картона, слышно каждое слово соседей. У нас соседи были идиоты, которые постоянно ругались, слушали музыку и смотрели фильмы. Ощущение что все это происходит прям у вас в номере. Постельное белье старое и серое, с дырками Полотенца старые, купили для себя в магазине новые. Кондиционер работал хорошо. За 7 дней уборка была всего 1 раз, хотя обещали 1 раз в 2 дня. Итого, обычное Балийское жилье, ничего особенного, но и стоит недорого. Скорее всего другие варианты за аналогичные деньги будут хуже. Если нужно остаться на 2-3 дня, то сойдет. Если на долго - то нет

Bisher eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir in Ubud hatten. Eignet sich auch perfekt zum Arbeiten. Sowohl der kleine Schreibtisch im Zimmer als auch der große Balkon bieten genügend Platz. Vom Balkon aus hat man auch eine tolle Sicht auf die Reißfelder und ins Grüne. Die kleine Küche auf dem Balkon mit großem Kühlschrank ermöglicht es, auch ganz schnell ein Frühstück oder einen kleinen Snack zu machen. Die Lage ist schon etwas außerhalb. Ohne eigenen Roller kommt man nicht wirklich weit; das sollte man vorher wissen. Mit Grab oder Gojek kommt man auch nicht zur Wohnung, da fünf Minuten vor der Wohnung die Fahrer werden von den Locals aufgehalten. Das Servicepersonal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Auch die Gastgeberin ist super hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen kleinen Notfall, und Caroline konnte uns freundlicherweise behilflich sein.
